Domains with exact keywords match

Hi there,

I've been reading your great posts on BHW and am in the process of building a huge portfolio of domain names in Spanish. I have been researching domains with 2 keywords combination for high monthly searches and I've found out about 20 available domains with exact keyword (kw1+kw2) without any "-" or words in between. Those keywords combinations have at least 10 million searches per month. I'm now brainstorming ideas to use those keywords to generate traffic. Will those domains rank high in Google searches? I've heard that Google change its algorithm and that it is now very difficult to rank high with this strategy.

If you want to rank only with EMD, then you have to change your mind set up. IM involves a lot of things, it's not all about EMD. EMD is only a small fraction.

I agree with you Mike. I'm aware that in addition with the EMD, I'll have to implement the great ideas shared on this forum. But in terms of page rank, do EMD still have a slight edge over totally unrelated domain names or names with "-"?

EMD are great but, as said, not everything.
Is facebook a EMD for face and book? I don't think so. But it still better in SERP than face or book LTD.
I have EMD #1 on G for their keywords but they are at 30K-40K monthly search top.
At 10 millions, you are entering in the big heads world...

If given the choice I'd rather have an age domain then an EMD. I find the former easier to rank. With that said. EMDs have there value but your right not as much as it used to. Although they still kick ass on Bing.

I've checked the top 10 results for those keywords combinations and for some of them, it's some forum threads... 10 Millions exact searches and no competition for the top spot... Is it too good to be true? Am I missing something?

yeah probably to good to be true or just a very general phrase that not worth ranking like "old bananas" or something

Actually, a particular keywords combination is a common expression in Spanish and quite interesting for mobile phone ads. This same combination had 20 M + exact searches per month. My guess is that there are much less SEO experts using Spanish keywords. I guess there are still many arbitrage opportunities in other languages as everybody is focusing on English.
