How fast did you get indexed ?

As the title asks, how fast did you manage to get your site indexed and to show up in the 1st page of Google ?

And,

what methods did you use ?

I have been trying to do the same for a new website of mine and couldn't see very good results, so i thought of getting some motivation!

Here are the things i did :

1.) Manual submission of my site to various search engines.
2.) Used "Backlink SkyRocket" to generate backlinks.
3.) Used free sites for submission of site to various pages of different websites.
4.) Used "Comment Blaster" to post comments on various Wiki sites.
5.) Made some Youtube Videos and promoted them (got them some likes, favs., comments etc.)
6.) Did some social promotion of the site i.e got some tweets, Facebook posts, Google +1s etc.
7.) Used Yahoo Answers for promotion.

What else can i do for further promotion of my site?

3 days and my website was shown in google. If you using Wordpress get a XML Plugin and write content each day for 7 days and you will see 3 days later since your first post you will be indexed. You don't need these spam website indexer! You don't even need webmaster tools or ohter backlinks! (Trust me I started my new website like this last week)

24-36 hours home page got indexed in google with out any content on my site...

I set up the website a few days ago, but there was no content on it and I didn't promote it in any way.

Last night, I checked and the site was not indexed. I pinged it with a free bulk ping service. Then I submitted it to Digg and Reddit, and pinged the URLs for those two submissions. Today I woke up and it was indexed.

I'm not sure if Google had it indexed on it's own (since it had been up for a few days) and it was just a coincidence, but I've made other websites before and they're usually indexed in ~8 hours using this method.

It's likely that all of the extra "BS" stuff that you are doing my be slowing you down. kolloni said, Just get a xml plugin if you are using wordpress and your pages will show up. Promote your pages naturally on facebook, twitter etc. You can ping your post if you want, but I never find it necessary.

I get indexed on one of my sites more or less as soon as i post, say a few seconds after iv posted it gets picked up.
The method i use is just pure quality, recent/ up to date content.
Not big traffic but i went from less then 10 views a day to more then 60 just through content.

i am using some method for get fast indexing:-
Submit your RSS feed, Google bookmarks,Use Craigslist, Post comments on blogs that don't use nofollow, Buy links, Article marketing, Social media,Link exchanges, Get Free One-Way Backlinks.

My wordpress sites generally get indexed within a few hours. Large magento sites can take a few weeks though.

It took me around 2 days for a new site. But I got indexed within 1 day with a old domain.

If you are followed these sections properly, you should find your web page indexed.

Indexing still depends on what type of links you have. If you have unique blog/guest post on different web 2.0 or blogs or comments on indexed blogs expect your links will get indexed automatically. Forum profile links, wiki's, social bookmarks and some article directories would take time before they get indexed or worst they will never get indexed even you ping, rss or even submit them on indexing services.

I have registered a domain and got indexed in less than 2 hours, i tweeted and it got indexed in tweetmeme thus making google to index it quickly.

I did only these and my site got indexed within 48 hours

The site i made did get indexed in a day but it doesn't show up in the first 10 pages of Google for the keyword.
