Amazon Success - $300 Day Yesterday

Are they strict when it comes to sources of traffic, etc. - I was thinking of giving them a try with a handful of sites (quality sites) but all kinds of backlinks and traffic sources, including triple span articles, Web 2.0s, profile links, Xrumer posts, you name it

From what I've read on the forums, they ban accounts for iframing and adult, anything else I should be aware of?

I really am not out to Spam the crap of my sites or Amazon in General .. It's not
where I would like it - but after a day like yesterday you see hard work pays off.

so can't answer your question on getting banned - I'm grey hat with them only.

Also I would not focus so much on my keywords and how I choose niches - you should
if your interested in making money from Amazon be researching and making your own
plan... as that's how money will get your in pocket.

Congrats, Amazon is certainly my favorite platform for affiliate marketing as you really don't need much traffic if you're selling high ticket items and have set up correctly.

$300/day is a nice second income that's for sure.

Wow, what an inspiration!!! We are doing almost the same thing but not with WP Robot - Amaz-One plugin. It gives you up to 1000 words customers reviews on the products which in combination with WP Unique kind of protects you from G. Zoo - Pandas married to Penguins and such... Oh, and we would not call it autoblog because Amazon has terribly long titles and we have to edit them all at a draft state manually - so it semi-automated, semi-autoblog. Plus to that we are having manually created post with super interesting subjects which are going viral very often.

The only thing we are not doing - not building links - not to mess with Google moods and his Zoo. We are only using Twitter 21k+ (and growing) targeted followers and Re-tweets. Some of the posts (even from the plugin) are indexing very fast and some (low search & low competition)keywods are # 1 on G. and making some sales.

My question is - do you build backlinks to certain inner pages according to your targeted products (niche) or just to a Home page? Do you make majority of sales from your targeted niche or secondary products? Do you think for good conversions it's necessary to reach the highest SERPs possible or just good traffic from social sites will help to conversions?

how do you do research on your products with relation to ranking your sites with SEO? I presume you obviously wouldn't want to pick something with too much competition so how are you going about picking your products in regards to ranking?

each plug in works slightly differently so yup - you just need to figure out how to use it best.
I backlink articles/categories and home page
Use auto-tagging to pick up all kinds of crazy keywords as you say - you get sales.

Been $35 - $55 a day last few days - but the $312 day was pretty sweet.

People always want to disect keywords / searches / niche selection but to be honest you make a site
figure out how to optimize it in everyway - when it finally makes sales then you scale it to other niches.

personally I don't do electronics but like I said there are so many variables with Amazon that it would
probably work as well.

make them yourself / buy them whatever you need to do to get started .. they are a good long term
investment.... don't be scared if it takes a little while to get going - it happens to everyone in the beginning.

so they can make unique sites for themselves - but anyway it's human nature

This isn't one of my sites but perhaps you can get the idea of what some people
are doing .... this is a modded heatmap theme site

a1 - rated - gadgets dot com and yes you need the - to see the site

I don't really use Adsense to be honest -- I'm trying to make $500 - $2000 Sales
for $37 - $150 a shot commission -- Adsense takes the visitors away for Peanuts.

Disclaimer - I have no idea how much that site makes nor any Seo Strategy they use
-- it's not my niche and have zero to do with the site. It's a pure example of someone
taking action.

(Also just because I target $500+ Sales doesn't always work out that way - alot of people own the
item and just buy accessories) - it's definately a learning process.

I can't really answer your question the way you would like it to be answered
because with Penguin - alot of rules / strategies are still a little unknown... in terms
of effectiveness. Also I think it depends on how competitive the niche is - more
competition probably means you have less chance of fast success... and the more
you have to chase long tail keywords.

It's one of those things where you got to try it - and build on it as you go. Also
now you need more content and less "buy here links". Anyway that's the best I got

this is why I don't do electronics - those are capped at $25 a sale - so instead of getting $105 on
a different type of product I only got $25.

so keep that in mind if you build stores only going for electronics... your going to need alot of volume.

Only one question. How many amazon sites you have? Its important to know for the amazon newbie like me, since it will help me analyze how much effort do i need to put it to earn some money outta it.

If you dont wish to to give exact figure, atleast let me know the range... ie 1 to 5 or 5 to 10 or even more.

Your going to need 20 sites to have a consistent monthly income... Assuming your not going to be hands on each day.

The more time you put into it the less sites you will need.
Also the better quality the site the less you will need.

not every site you make will be successful
the more automatic the site .. The more you need

So try a couple and figure out what works then how much time
and Seo you have to put into it .. And decide how many you want.

Then you still have to contend with Google/Penguin... So as I said
many times for each person it will be different.
