Same thing happened to me. That's why I stopped building links for a while.
the usual peekaboo we still see inorganic links canned messageWhat was the response to your reconsideration requests?
try to follow codo 3500 and minight-focus.I followed them and it worked wonders for me .My site got my rankings back in one month.
I have the exact same thing on my one site. It too has an unnatural link warning and no matter what I throw at it, it just keeps dancing in the 100+ serps zone. This was since Panda, nevermind Penguin. Im about to do a massive site wide copy overhaul (40 or so pages) and hoping this will get me back on track.
Add more content. I cannot stress how important new content is. They're moving away from traditional methods of determining what "reputable" content is. Backlinks are meaning less and less now that their technologies are improving, so now it's based on the context of the content. If they see that you're uploading more and more content related to the subject, why would it matter if you knew anything about SEO? For example, I've seen many personal blogs rise to the top in many keywords after the updates. It makes sense because - just because they don't know how to build links and how to do SEO doesn't mean they're not reputable. The best cook in the world might not have an idea about how to perform SEO, so why should his content not be at the top? In connection with social networking, that just comes with being reputable. "If your content is worth sharing, it'll be shared.", that's their philosophy. Of course one could always do that blackhat, but content will always be the main source of reputation.
if by linkbuilding you mean blasting comments on bad quality spammy blogs i agree with you
but good linkbuilding as describe some post above works damn well and if with that you have an EMD it's easy to go for the #1
Thank you for that. But is there an easy way to calculate this metric to this from TBS? What % in TBS is like 500% in UD?Ultimate Demon calculates uniqueness like this. Currently I am at 350 to 400% unique. Aiming at 1000%.
Not sure what other tools can be used for this. I wrote a thread recently though that gives a rough idea of how many times you can use a spun article.
Yep, linkbuilding is continuing to work. The key is to focus on higher quality backlinks, especially post-Penguin.
This means backlinks from high PageRank domains, with high quality content if possible. Google's getting better and better at determining the quality of the content, which in turn is affecting the overall effectiveness of the backlinks.
Google knows about low-quality duplicate and spun content generated on Web 2.0 properties, thus you need to think outside of the box if you use those methods and/or focus on the higher quality stuff to begin with.
Also if you get unnatural link warning (which means you got manually slapped) and you have no way of responding to that request, you might just want to 301 that site to a new site and start over again.
I guess it is mailed to your Google Webmaster Tools account, should you have it.How can you tell if you have the unnatural link warning?
