GSA Search Engine Ranker worth it?

Hi Anon752,
can you elaborate what kind of plattforms you use with GSA for your projects? Maybe you can just share how you setup a complete project for a website. So what kind of plattforms, how many keywords, how many and what anchor texts and so on. If you can share it here that would be awesome. If you can simple write down your process and save it as PDF or make a quick video that shows the whole process of you setting up a complete campaign - heck I would also pay for it. Thanks again.

As sammyd said, read s4nt0s's writeup. I used it too.

Not slacking today.

3.21 - new: over 40 engines improved
- new: CaptchaSniper pre-filter of images that might crash CS (not our fault though).
It's very likely that you will still see it crashing or not responding.
Not much we can do about it, bother CS author about it ;)
- new: better spin syntax for engines that automatically place a link in comments.

What would be nice, would be a lot more keyword targeting of the engines
There is a big section of forums being missed out on linkbacks as well, which are vbulletin forums with vbseo installed on them

32 new captcha types used by GSA added to CS:

Well, if there's a footprint that allows for detection of vbseo with vbulletin forums then it can be scraped, right? Have you submitted the idea to Sven?

I have these integrated right now and they all show up in the User Defined section of CS. Very nifty.

Ever since I upgraded to the new version of Captcha Sniper my DeathByCaptcha use has decreased significantly. For the past week I've only had to burn about 1800 captchas across 7 projects. Using CS 1.5beta I'd usually do at least double that. Using DBC alone... let's not even go there.

The combo of GSA SER/GSA SEO Indexer/Captcha Sniper 7.77/DBC is incredibly cost effective. It might be time to invest in additional VPSes with this combo as the automation is great. It makes a great complement to whatever your other backlinking strategies are.

I have no idea how the linkbacks work
Just looking over the code on a forum to see what keywords jump out
"linkbacktools" "Trackbacks" "Pingbacks" "linkbacks#trackbacks"

I'm currently using Captcha Infinity, but it crashes quite a bit on my 2GB RAM VPS giving the error Out of memory. However, It shows about 900MB of ram is still free, plus, it doesn't connect with my DBC account for some weird reason, hence I'm considering getting Captcha Sniper for use with it. Has anyone used both of them?

So would you recommend investing the $97 (or can I find it cheaper somewhere) for CS 7.77 to use it with GSA and AMR?
And how difficult is it to set it up? Do I need add my deathbycaptcha logins into Captcha Sniper? I thought I just set the order in GSA directly?
After starting CS on your VPS do you select all captcha types or do you preselect the ones used by GSA - if yes how do you know which ones are used?
Thanks in advance for your answer.

We use GSA as one of the ingredients to do do the offsite SEO of our micro niche sites and so far we have been getting great results. We are able to rank sites that only have 3-4 days in the first page with relative ease. So I'd say GSA is worth it.

I'm using CS and DBC on a VPS with 1GB of RAM with no crashes. GSA SER and GSA Indexer are running on both as well. SER is set to 50 threads and Indexer is at the default (10 threads). 1.5beta used to crash periodically (tesseract.exe) but with the new version it hasn't so far (knock on wood).

I haven't used AMR in the longest time, so I can't comment on how successful you'll be with it.

With GSA I think having CS is worth it if you're planning on obtaining a lot of links.

For DBC, Decaptcher, etc. you don't order from within GSA. You only put your login credentials there. You still have to go to the DBC website and buy credits.

I select all captcha types. I don't particularly care which ones are used and which ones aren't. It's not really worth my time to figure that out either. I can tell that it's working because I pop into my VPS from time-to-time and can see CS crunching away, plus my DBC costs have gone down.

Thanks. I'll probably purchase Captcha sniper soon then, and maybe get another VPS.

question about comments guys

i've just spent a good day or so getting my head round this whole spinning thing and have now created custom spun entries for pretty much everything but wanted to know do you use the same spun comment for blog and forum?

I use s4nt0s' ultimate comment scrapper and spinchimp and now have some cracking relevant blog comments but do i really need to do it all again for the forums ones?

I have a bunch of different files if anyone wants them. All USA Zip codes, Countries, States, Fake Addresses, etc. that you can use to populate the fields faster. If anyone wants them let me know and I'll try to upload them to mediafire or something.

*Edit* Or you can make your own by using this free generator :

What kind of comments are you guys writing? Just generic ones? It seems like its not going to work writing niche specific comments since most links that gsa creates are not on related sites. Just wondering

Around 400 bad words to use in GSA:
http://pastebin.com/7D6gMZXK

Quite necessary. I found quite a few links on adult domains/pages.

EDIT: I also found a lot of internationalized domains, to fix that I just unchecked the checked search engines in "International" box. Worked great, only got .com and .co.uk after that(I had those checked). If you use this feature properly it'll be great for ranking websites higher in specific countries. ;)
