Pity ya gotta sign up to that shit. Can't be arsed to run up an account just to glorify that fucker.

I'd say something like this tho.

I LOVE MATT CUTTS BECAUSE - He represents the easy-target to point the finger at.

It's afterall HIS fault that millions of lives are changed at the drop of his lil winkle. I love that he has a name that so closely rhythms with my favorite part of a ladies anatomy.. When I read his blog it demonstrates just how wild and out of touch the Google executive are with real people struggling to make a living. he so often shows off what HE can afford to do and how wonderfully perfect and fulfilled his life is bashing and boshing and destroying the livelihoods of others.

I think he is a fantastic example of corporate sarcasm operating at its best and of course I love the fact that his toilet smells like roses when he's been in it, even after some heavy night out with his 'oh so proper' pals... Yes. I enjoy Matt Cutts, just like I enjoy my hemorrhoids when they behave badly. Like them, he's a part of me, never really soothed and always waiting to remind me exactly where he is. I might even rename my hemorrhoids Matt Cutts and so when I wipe and smear them, I'll gain the exact same satisfaction he gains when he wipes and smears millions of incomes away in a perfect soft environmentally perfect algo and,, flushes them all away... How nice.. So godly,, So wonderful is our beloved Matt Cutts. I shall call all of my experimental anchors after him, so I can see against his brilliance, what works and what doesn't...

Maybe one day I'll get to read something exciting like,,, Cutts arrested for molesting little websites!

Why do you hate him so much? A man is doing his job. If I am at his place I would make the same thing. I don't understand how you couldn't figure out that this will happen sooner or later.

Adapt to new google or quit, but stop whining and crying.

Thats alot of negative karma going towards Matty boy.

Why hate Matt Cutts? He's doing his job. Our job is to figure out what he and his team has done, adjust accordingly and profit. If anything, what Google has done *should* improve the quality of webpages out there by reducing spun junk, annoying webpage traps for visitors, etc. This builds more confidence in consumers that the web is a great place to spend money. This benefits internet marketers that are dynamic enough to adjust.

Thats BS, google does what it does to drive traffic to adwords. When the results suck people are more apt to click relevant adwords links and poor business owners are more apt to pay for adwords. Come on Assphuck, do you HONESTLY think Google is in business at this stage in the game to make people happy with "free' search results? It's all about money.

If this BS Penguin thing had anything to do with quality, blank pages would not rank on page one.

Of course it's all about money for Google. But do you really think their Adwords revenue will rise because of Penguin? I don't, and I'll tell you why. My Adwords CTR has dropped since Penguin. Once the funds are exhausted in that account, which will be a while because I target buyer keywords, I have no plans to reload it. Anyway, Adsense revenue is down as well. I see no positive impact on Google's Adwords/Adsense revenue from my side.

Granted, more website owners knocked out of organic search may consider Adwords as a viable alternative. That is until they see what it will cost them to compete. There's only so much ad space in Google Search at this point. Sure, Google has taken certain niches and pushed all organic search results below the fold. But I seriously do not believe Google will have a net gain from Penguin at all. Any potential increase in Adwords revenue, which I don't see from my end because of a lower CTR, would surely be offset by their losses in Adsense revenue.

Google has been expanding for years and acquiring other businesses in an effort to broaden their revenue streams and capabilities. Sooner or later Google Search will not matter to them as much as it does now. Will that result in the entire number of listings being all paid and organic listings pushed to page two or three? It would not surprise me, because as you said it is all about the money. Penguin, on the other hand, will hurt their bottom line from everything I have seen. Because as you say, blank pages can be seen in the top ranks for some niches that were once filled with sites that had Adsense.

To sum up my opinion, Penguin was a failure that will be corrected. Most Penguinized sites will recover in sixty days or so without doing anything. Google may do this incrementally to hide the embarrassment of a flawed filter or they will introduce so many patches to correct problems it will put Penguin on ice.
