It's almost 02 month (50 days) starting a fresh site and you can pull off ~ $20. I say wow, i learned it , your lesson about works, time scale, niche choosing and stuff and I'm thinking about doing my homework, do what you "build another adsense site".
I use WP because it makes globals changes easier.
I used to design the sites by hand myself but it got to be a pain in the butt, if I wanted to change something in a menu, for example, I had to go change it on every page. I guess you could get around that with php but still.
Keep in mind I've spent more than $20 building this site (registration, hosting, SEO) so I'm still net negative.

I have an AdSense plugin and a sitemap plugin.

Like I said I'll probably update this thread less often now since I'm not doing anything with this site recently and nothing exciting is happening. I'm still net negative on the site after factoring in SEO costs but that's not a big deal, most sites take a while to make a profit, anyway.
Fun fact: since solidifying its position at #12 on 5/7, this site has made an average of $0.60 per day. That comes out to $219 a year. Not quite what I was hoping for, but not bad for page 2, I suppose.

Do you use only ONE keyword for your blog?
I have one blog that have too much keywords in all of my posts, and I don't get much clicks etc.
Is better using only one Keyword for all the blog? Main and posts? Or can I use more than one relationed Keyword.

Question for you: I'm new to this, so I'm not sure if my keyword is good or not. My domain is exact matched, and the Adwords keyword tool says it has 1,220,000 searches a month, and Google gives me 400,000,000 results when I search for it. I have managed to make it to the first page, and I'm in the 7th position. However, I am getting very few hits. I'm talking about less then 5 hits a week. Is my keyword bad, or is this typical for the 7th spot. I'd be willing to message you directly with my domain name since I trust you

- still averaging position 12
- total revenue is $67.92
I haven't done anything to this site since the last update, just letting it sit.
I may put some more SEO work into it in the future and try to get into the top 10.
