Flipping a new site making $150+/day?

From your post, I can tell that you have ZERO experience when it comes to website flipping.

The site "just shot" to #1 position... and how long it has been there for? a week?

A site's value depends on many factors including but not limited to
1. Revenue
2. Revenue source
3. How long the site has been generating revenue for.
and there's a lot more than that involved in when it comes to valuating a site... Meathead1234 is the man to ask.

From your post, i only can understand that you are very limited to analyses.........

As i stated before already, i gave him an example, but this example is not the Ready to Go Price... He told us about his Revenue, i told him about Price, if he wants to know more adetails he needs to provide more details...

No seasoned buyer will invest serious money in a 2 mo old website. You're trying to sell a 2 mo old website that makes $150 a day? Oh please already. I was born at night but it wasn't last night. Without specific details about the website I call BS on your numbers but wish you good luck with ignorant Flippa buyers.

Fortunately, he wasn't asking your opinion on whether or not his site is actually earning those numbers. He was asking for an opinion on the worth of such a site. Your response has no place here.

What I want to know is, how the f**k did you do this. 2 month old site making $150 a day.......i would die if I could do that, die happy, drunk, high, and satisfied

Not really. He's looking at it from this standpoint - ANY two month old site that is relying on the SERPs is not going to be bought for that much money. It was not a realistic example in any scenario. I'm not sure what your analysis is based on. The fact that the site is merely two months old, and is at the mercy of Google's updates, pretty obviously shows a 2 year revenue estimate would never be plausible. So in short, your 'example' was pretty useless to the OP.

And what could possibly be my motivation to lie in a thread on here? If this was your attempt to manipulate me into revealing my niche to you, nice try. Move along, troll.

You wouldn't be the first member to ask for an evaluation and then entertain offers through PMs or start PMing responders. So yes I treat every evaluation thread with suspect. Most are just trying to presell or advertise their Flippa listings.

Good luck to you with Flippa buyers. The ignorant ones will offer you a little money but the smart ones with deep pockets will want a whole lot more proof that your methods are sustainable and numbers are real. I suspect you'll not land a fish but let us know how it goes.

I don't see the word moderator under your name so who are you to tell anyone their "response has no place here"?

The OP asked for an evaluation and offered half the puzzle. He offered gross income without divulging costs. How can ANYONE give him an evaluation without knowing costs? So he has a site that makes $150 a day and costs him $200 a day in adwords. Site worth nothing.

Saying he's netting $150 a day on a 2 month old site I'd say his site is worth a bit more than nothing but until he sustains this income for at least 6 months a seasoned buyer isn't going to offer serious money. Anyone can make a quick hit and run site that can do these numbers - sustaining these numbers for months is a whole different story. Could be a trademarked niched, purchased traffic, or a dozen other methods that won't work in the long term.

While recognizing the site age and no details about important matters such as monetizing methods, traffic sources, revenue sources I'd say the site is worth a few hundred dollars tops.

Your website must generate stable revenue for at least 3 months for you to sell it for a good price.

I don't know why you continue to question my credibility and address me with that condescending attitude. Is this thread about how to fool Flippa buyers into buying a site "supposedly" earning $150/day? Didn't think so. I am merely asking for the fair market value of a newly ranking site with such earnings. Usually it is 10-12x monthly revenue for a site with a more proven track record, so I am merely questioning what the corresponding multiplier is for a site such as mine, or for a site with, let's say, a month of stable earnings/traffic.

Lol, you are a joke buddy. I clearly stated that the site is ranked highly for high-traffic keywords, so it's common sense that all of my traffic is organic. And thus, I have no costs. But keep on trolling.

With that short history of earnings you can be lucky getting 3-5x the monthly income. Don't believe me? List it at flippa and let's see...

Thanks, that's about what I was thinking.

True but its $150 a day is one thing, $4500 a month is another.
OP, it would be a good idea to let it sit around for a month, split test, try to increase the revenue and once its a bit more stable, sell it for 5-6 times the monthly revenue.

By the way, your revenue source also affects your website's value... Adsense sites go for top dollar (establishes ones go for 10-12x monthly $$) while on the other hand, "services" sites don't tend to sell well.

I would give it more time to verify the earnings and rankings for your site. If I was the buyer, I wouldn't want to pay more than 8 months of its revenue when its only 2 months old and just recently started making what its making now.

If everything is kosher with stats and the site is still ranking you should be able to get 5-8 months fairly easily on flippa, possibly even more than 10 months if you're lucky and invest a lot in a good description, proper stats and promoting the auction (make it premium!). That's what I've seen similar sites go for in there. If you do the auction properly and the site is decent 10-12 months is about the max you can expect to get for a new site, so don't be too greedy.

DM - you're way too smart to actually believe that.

There is no way on earth a site that is one month old earning $150 a day would sell for $50k like you're claiming.

As soon as you go above $10k, multiples drop significantly. Below $10k people pay stupid multiples all day long - because they think they can grow a site.

@ OP - you might get $10k if you sold it now, but there's really no point. Aim to keep it 6 months then sell.

Whoa I misread that as $150 per month, didn't realize 12 months is $50k here, yep in those ranges it won't go that high of course. It's probably best to keep it for a few months.
