They have captcha sniper support, but that can only do so much, you have to use paid captcha's for the rest.. we should be bugging them about the $6 for 1000 captchas more like

You can use DeathbyCaptcha which is a lot cheaper.

Don't contact them unless it is absolutely necessary. First post your question here. You distract them from writing code if you contact them too frequently.

The guy can't use the software if he can't get the proxies to work. Nobody here could really help him so I told him to contact support. Easy Peasy.

At this moment there are a total of 4900 verified links.
I do have to say the system is a bit slow using the tool.
I use 60 threads in GSA SER, and 20 thread for GSA SEO indexer.
I am very new to these kind of tools so I am not sure what the best configuration is when using 11 private proxies.

Is this 4900 threads across all projects, or on a single project?

Also do you have any limits set (like only posting to PR3+ sites, etc)

Thought i'd give this a go as I'm looking at a way of improving my sites ranking without spending a ton of cash!
Started reading through the thread and noticed the comments about updates and there's been an update before I even get going LOL

I tried the demo and liked it, finally purchased. Problem is I'm getting a lot less links now and i notice this message shows up a lot "main URL already parsed" what does that mean?

not too sure about some of the sites though, just checked one of the links and it was a ladyboy forum in thailand not sure i want my site linking from something like that!
but must say its been running for a little while now and has 22 confirmed links so can't be all bad supose, hopefully that'll get better when my new CS lic file arrives.

Create web 2.0 properties, and input them into GSA, instead of your money site.

I lol'd. Hopefully you're testing against a non-critical site. You should do that first and build up a good poison filter and domain filter list. I think someone shared their poison list in this thread in fact. Also, you can do as Scritty does and scrape your own target list beforehand and fire away at those.

Either that or you start investing in ladyboy-themed websites!

Just read through this epic thread. I've tried the GSA SER trial and boy oh boy, this thing is quite impressive. I do have a couple of questions though:

1. It seems like the best way to adjust settings like PR posting or captcha solving between platforms is to duplicate a website project and set the duplicate to only post to that platform with the desired project settings. Is that correct?

2. How does spinnerchief integration work? Do I just need to have it running on the same machine, or is there a setting for that somewhere? Also, I think there was an update that included The Best Spinner...Not sure if I actually read that. It's all blurring together now.

3. I guess it's not worth using say 10 private proxies if I'm currently running 50 threads? It seems like that would cause problems with scraping. Darn.

I only use 10 proxies most of the time. You can set loads of different search engines for scraping, this way you wouldn't be hitting the same search engine with the same proxy over and over.

1) Well since you can't adjust PR and Captcha settings for every individual platform type you would have to duplicate the project and adjust the options like you mentioned above.

2) The spinner integration is there when you create a new project you can see the button that says, "spin convert" (right next to the test button) from there you can enter your login credentials for TBS or Spinnerchief and use it as a mini spinner.

3) You would have to test it I guess. I guess it depends on how good the proxies are really and like Kendra mentioned, it doesn't just scrape from 1 search engine. You can select engine from all over the world to scrape from. Because I am in the US, I'll usually select US search engines and UK since they are both English language. That gives me around 14 total search engines.

No. Forum nicknames and passwords are not spinnable fields. They need to stay constant so the software is able to login to the websites and post articles, etc.

Scraping niche-related comments is something I should be doing. I'm assuming you're using SB for that. Can you explain precisely how you use SB for that?

I Have messaged GSA about adding diffrent platforms many times and he says if we give him footprints and some examples he should be able to add them. I messaged him a few days ago about the footprints you sudgested but I havent gotten a responce.

Everyone here should look at the platforms you posted and if they want them added then message GSA with the footprint and some example sites (sites that can actualy be posted too). They are great at updating new platforms but we need to help out too!

Almost every new platform that has beed added has been from a sudgestion from users. For example I asked GSA to add a Doc sharing platform then 2 days later what do you know new update with a doc sharing platform.
With that I asked GSA if they would make it so that it would actualy upload spun DOCs and PDFs but this was his reply.

What is BHWs openion on this? I dont do much doc submitting so Im curious if it would be better to submitt DOCs and PDFs or not?

If you think GSA should submit DOCs and PDFs then message GSA with your reasoning. The only way hes going to change it is if thats what people want!
