GSA Search Engine Ranker worth it?

Seems like GSA Search Engine Ranker has much more features than either Scrapejet or nohandsseo. They (GSA) just don't advertise it enough, and their sales letter is not the best.

Penguin didnt seem to affect the sites that I have used GSA on. Rankings still rising. And I have the indexer tool along with all my copies of SER.

scrapebox is like a swiss knife, GSA is swiss knife on steroids + 9mm uzi!

Have been running this for some time now on my VPS should write a bot to keep it updated and running it if server gets restarted.

In my opinion it's a good business idea, if someone want to try out.

Only using it for indexing on a VPS machine it should deliver the same result as Backlinks Indexer.

And good indexing services are very rare.

Can anyone shed any light on what file needs to be altered and how?

You need to edit the hosts file in your (windows)\system32\drivers\etc directory. (windows) could be whatever you have your windows directory named. The file is specifically named hosts. You can edit it with notepad. If your on XP you can just edit it. If your on Vista or 7 then you need to open notepad as an administrator, then open the hosts file for editing.

Programm is running for 3 weeks nonstop. (I only close the tool once a day for updating)


Root recieved a PR3, PR was NA.
Website is still ranked #4 on 2 keywords.
I do not think it will reach a top 3 position.
This weekend new content will be added to the website and right after that, a new campaign will be started with new keywords.


At this moment there are a total of 4900 verified links.
I do have to say the system is a bit slow using the tool.
I use 60 threads in GSA SER, and 20 thread for GSA SEO indexer.
I am very new to these kind of tools so I am not sure what the best configuration is when using 11 private proxies.


I did not calculate the outgoing traffic. I think it is a lot. But who cares.
The internet connection is a 100Mbit up and down fiberglass stream.


PC system I use for this tool is a old AMD2400+ with 2GB of memory.
Tomorrow 15000 captcha are used for around 5000 verified links. I think this is pretty good.. right?


Still, I have problems creating good spinning content for social bookmarks, directory, forums and articles. So I do not use these options. maybe in future I will if I find a technik to create good spinning articles.
What I am going to try is the video option. maybe this will result in some more backlinks.

I just checked all 42 from my case study (only used GSA, no other link building)

PR3: 9
PR2: 28
PR1: 4
PR0: 1

If anything, this seems like a good way to build up PR on a lot of domains.
