What are you using to track your SERP movement?
It was a topic not allowed. At that time I didn't check the TOS clearly before applying for Adsense.
So right now I have about 2 accounts that have been rejected for Adsense (separate Gmails), and I've created a new Gmail to register with Adsense on a new site that does not contain content against Adsense rules. Since I'll be using the exact same personal information to register for Adsense again, I'm just worried I get flagged by Google due to my past attempts at registering for Adsense.
How are your adsense places?
Firstly, thanks for the very detailed thread. How many sites do you have under 1 account at the moment?
Have you ever thought of flipping your sites?
).I've tossed around the idea but never really seriously considered it. Besides, it would suck if I made a site and say it was ranking at #10 and then I sold it and like a week later Google updates its algorithm and the site falls to 100 or something. I'd feel bad for the buyer (I know this separates me from 99% of the IM world who doesn't give a shit about fucking people over... I've even seen threads on how to do just that).
When selling AdSense sites, how much revenue do they usually go for? Seems risky for the buyer since the game can change so fast.
I'd never buy someone else's AdSense site. Maybe they're propping up its rankings with a private network and as soon as they sell it they pull all the links and the site falls. Fuck that.
The only way I would ever consider buying a site would be if someone had a good content site that I bought, that they had never put AdSense on (I don't want Google seeing my AdSense ID on a site that used to have someone else's AdSense ID), and they hadn't done any SEO to it because I don't trust other people to do SEO.
There is always a risk with investments. Even so, it's the buyer's responsibility to ask the right questions and do the appropriate research before making any purchase or bids.
Usually people will only take strong interest in a listing that has been consistently ranking and earning for 3 months. A site's price usually goes like this: revenue/mth x 20mths
Why not give it a go with one of your sites? The money earned can always be better put into other projects and investments.
