10k a month income lost... how I'm getting it back. BST services that work!

February was my best month ever since starting IM. Largely due to BMR. So that crashed and as well as every single on of my site rankings.
Started a new site at the end of March and one month later I'm well on my way to reclaiming my throne! I'm targeting 12-15 keywords per important page including naked links and "brand" terms.

3/30/12:
Hoth results package (page 2) $200
Blackhole Seo (page 1) $175
Big Buddy's Mega Link Pyramid (page 2) $175
*** All to old domain trying to bring it back***

4/5/12: Said fuck it and wanted to build a quality looking and content site. Transferred all the content to new brand-able domain. Blocked my old site from G so no duplicate penalty. NO 301 redirect!
Hoth Results package (homepage) $200
Best Social Bookmarking BST $15

4/9/12: Indexed in G

4/11/12: Switch Blackhole SEO to new domain (page 1)
Switch the Hoth package from old domain to new, so I saved about 2/3 of the package (page 2)

4/17/12

4/22/12

Most of the services don't involved sending a gazillion links to the money site. But the links that are sent a very powerful. The term that is responsible for 5,000 in commission for FEB is ranked 17 right now. And others are close behind. I'm hoping in the next week or so I'll be on the first page for most of my money terms.

It took my first site 3 months to go from 0 to 10k thanks to BMR and Linkvana, It looks like I might make it there faster the 2nd time around! Anyway the point of this thread is to inspire ppl to never give up! I was devastated when my site tanked! I thought I had "arrived" as a big shot. Thinking about what car to buy next lol. Then poof!

If you did it once, you can do it again. If your site is in the dump fix it! Or start over, IM is a roller coaster, enjoy the ride.

P.s. I also add new content every single day!

P.p.s. Bing/Yahoo rankings are even better.

How competitive are your keyword in terms of search volume? Not really interested in competing pages, just in US local Monthly Searches.

Im doing something similar with same income potential but at a much lower cost. While you were hit by Panda you alsdo need to take the new Penguin into consideration. So while spending all that money i would recommend you keep your money keywords at 50% and use just your url and 'click here' type anchor text links too. Otherwise last thing you want is to invest money to get past Panda, only to get hammered by Penguin and lose your investment.

They range from 200,000 exact match to 140. The keywords that helped me bank last time were around 8,000 EM and 90,000 EM. But the 90k keyword was a brand name so I didn't get nearly the share of traffic as I normally would with a non name brand kw.

Yea, I'm subscribed to the Linkbuilders (people behind micrositemasters) email list. It's a great read. My keywords are as diverse as it gets. My money keywords are less that 50% actually. Not taking any chances this time. And I don't plan on sustaining this spend. I just wanted a jumpstart. I'll decided on a few services to keep. And the potential is a lot greater than 10k a month. I had my first 1k day in the beginning of march. But soon after my site got hit

RedPanda i'm kinda curious. I saw you post in another thread about EWA. So you do SEO with EWA? How did/is that working out for you? I Ran with a few diff networks over the past 4 years but found them to be well, I guess not the worst but certainly not the best in terms of converting with SEO.

So you took every article on the site and repasted the content word for word? Were the titles, URLs, and meta descriptions all the same too, or did you change everything up a bit? Out of curiosity, how many pages were on the site?

With EWA I only run with paid traffic no seo. This site earns with offers from Commission Junction and Linkshare. Although I've has some success with BLAM Ads content locking offers on sites I do SEO on.

I know Jstover's just changed their model to only include links from related pages. And for the most part all the services that give me the location of the links they make have been on related pages.

I use hostmonster and wordpress. I just exported my entire blog and imported it in the new site. WP makes it really easy. And hostmonster provides a real easy 301 redirect. If you choose wildcard option you just redirect the homepage and all the pages with the same names will auto redirect. I think it had like 30-40 pages.

The website was brand new. Registered the domain mid March. I was hesitant to 301 redirect it at first, but after a few weeks I figured I'd try it out and if it had a negative effect I'd just undo it. And it wasn't a manual penalty, just a drop cause of the algorithm. Never got any messages in webmaster tools. I probably could have eventually fixed the original site, but I'm impatient and I took a lot of shortcuts with it. Stupid exact match domain with dashes, and no possible way to make a brand-able asset really.
