I used to be a loyal user of Google, but in the past few days after the Penguin update, I have been noticing that Bing delivers far more relevant results than Google is delivering now. I have now made Bing as my default search engine.

Let's all start using Bing. That will surely send signals to Google that it can not afford losing its market share because of this stupid Penguin update.

If you have any funny stories of Google search results, feel free to share them here.

Yes you should all start ranking for bing!
Then I will have less competition in google ;)

No, but seriously, bing has always been great to rank for! Why not give it a try?

Remember: We, the webmasters, have made google that big. If we want we can make them become loosers, again.

kind regards,
SICK

Maybe I will start using bing now.. Not because google penalize my sites, just to try something new..

As spammy as Google is with their stupid updates, it's still a million years ahead of bing. Also, I never understood howdafuq you could rank a site on bing - was receiving around 10k uv/day from google and 200 from bing

I switched to Bing for searching ages ago and it usually does the job. However just in the last couple of days it seems to have got blazing fast.. I went over to google to do a few searches for comparison, just to make sure I wasn't imagining things and I find google is now slower than a dead donkey (relatively). Is it just me?

How about Yahoo? Is Yahoo better than Bing or the other way round? Please share your thought.

Yeah, good luck to transfer all the daily Google users to Bing. You may get a few hits from Bing from here and there, but not as many as you could with Google.

hahagoogle.pngI am trying my best to get people to start using bing and yahoo. I crush those 2. Does anyone know anything about microsoft/yahoo/bing version of adwords? I went to sign up and google told me it was an attack site. Pic posted as proof.

You're a website owner/developer/seo person... You are not google's base. The other 99.99% of people are. Though by all means do leave to bing, I'll love to soak up better positions in google for cheaper.

i never cared much for SEO because its so unpredictable. I spend my time elsewhere.

Hmm, wheeeew i dont even have a clue as to wether bing is really coming up to par

I switched to Bing long time ago, unfortunately I'm in the minority and 75% of my traffic is from G. But nothing lasts forever, ask Alta Vista, my search engine of choice back in 96.

One thing I noticed about Bing recently - they index much faster than before, possibly even faster than Google. Once their index size matches this of Google we can speak about competition. As of now Bing fails when it comes to my academic needs (yeah I'm in academy part time).

With that said, I feel people here are choosing between two evils. Microsoft is notorious for its tendency to push technologies that make this world worser, take as an example: IE, ActiveX, .Net, etc. I'm not sure that we want Microsoft to be the next big player on SE market.
