GSA Search Engine Ranker worth it?

Looks good Anon752. I may have to purchase CS as I'm burning through DBC like a madman. I do not run GSA non-stop though, I usually do it for about 2-3 days to trickle in the links. I let the indexer run by itself and don't usually export/import the links into it.

I cant wait for the big update the Mike has been working on for Captcha Sniper, it should really help with the captcha costs. Right now Captcha Sniper is decent, its definitely helping, but I cant wait for it to really bring down my costs.

Yeah I tried Captcha Infinity but it cripples my low-end VPS if I have it running with GSA Indexer + SER. Anyway I think that any program should support CS/CI up front with an alternative fallback. (DBC, Decaptcher, etc.) I've pretty much spent almost $100 in DBC credits in April alone.

For those who have been using this tool for a while. I've been running into the same "problem" every time. Once a project has run for a while things slow down.....I hardly see any new links, low cpu and memory usage. Is this normal? Should I add additional keywords to get things going again? Even if I uncheck pr and obl criteria it doesn't seem to make a difference.

I thought it was a bandwith problem at first (running multiple projects) but now I have moved to a VPS with gigabit and 50 squid proxies and it doesn't seem to make any difference.

Sounds like you're running out of targets. Try entering more keywords, maybe a hundred or two, so that it keeps finding new targets to place links to.

Quick tip: Use WMT or your analytics software to use the keywords. I download my WMT report once a month, check the search volume and my positions etc, and backlink those keywords. Gives me a good anchor text diversity and ranks me higher on keywords that I miss out

Yes - you will need to use Deathbycaptcha or get one time fee tool like captcha sniper. Do not use decaptcha with gsa

Penguin didnt seem to affect the sites that I have used GSA on. Rankings still rising. And I have the indexer tool along with all my copies of SER.

I'm planning to do some changes after Pinguin update on my campaigns including new comment messages targeted to my niches instead of the default ones, use anchor texts separate for each urls and related to that particular url.

Also Im thinking to remove blog comments and image commenting as I see most of them are full of spam pages. Even if I set up that I do not want any link on pages with more than 100 outbound connections.

I need to alter my host file back, seems CAPTCHAinfinity altered it and its not connecting with Death By Captcha now I have uninstalled it
Can anyone shed any light on what file needs to be altered and how?
