Peerfly shaves hard - Is it only me ?

You guys that are always moaning about shaving don't seem to realize smart advertisers are now using shit like

So, please don't call the offer as email submit because CPA company is deceiving affiliate, they said it'll convert after the email submit. Please call it as conversion after address submit and ton of co-reg offers.

Recently this has been the case with me, I am not talking about Peerfly but it's another another network they shave me right after the leads are added to my Balance. I got really furious because, everyday I noticed a change in my balance but I was not sure what was wrong with my balance (Kept changing). Then I sent an email to the Affiliate Manager, and she explained this by saying these are the advertisers who do these stuff for bad leads.

The question is what if the leads are not bad ? Who's gonna judge the legitimacy of those leads, the advertisers? even if the leads were bad, they were not deliberately done by the publisher and as an advertiser you cant expect all leads to be 100% good or legitimate. It's part of the game. It's sad but true, that publishers seem to have very little control over this.

Jason's a nice guy but his take on how email submits work is a crock of shit. The "shaving" on email submits (without confirmation pixels) is generally advertisers not paying for duplicate addresses and the reason switching affiliate networks for the same submit (used to) get around that (for a while) is the advertisers only dedup'ed against the same publisher or broker.

All of them are nice guys, but when it comes about money, they SHAVE Very Nice Too :)

With that said, if I'm an advertiser, I'll only keep those leads that are profitable for me, it's so little work and profitable, if the lead doesn't complete co-reg offers and bunch of survey, I'll just shave it. Damn lol, it's good being an advertiser.

Hi BHatters. Is it only me or Peerfly (or advertisers ) shaves too much thesedays ?

What kind of offer are you running? If it's something like an email submit, some networks will admit to shaving, by calling it a "self improving offer" which will determine the quality of your traffic in the backend, for example if your users only fill out the first email submit, and none of them continue with the other offers after first page, that would be low quality traffic.

I am like this nowadays.

CPA networks are advertiser oriented. So no matter how much we complain the rate of shaving will go higher day by day.

all cpa networks platforms have built-in shaving feature .... and some time they shaving you not because they want
but because the pixel not fired and they keep the money .... seem shaving for cpa companies is a safety factor from BH leads ....
Correct. They can set how much to shave.I have read a lot about this and have find that they shave 10-15% on average.

Yes I already know that advertisers shave. However, they are mostly in Peerfly bcuz thay are the most famous in email submit niche. So they sure can find publishers whatever they shave or not.

NIce I was going to post a pic of a shave head what a dent in it to show how most of the lower level network shave but thought it was in bad taste.

PS> Anglina Jolie I'll still hit it.

Time to move another network....
