Hey, BHW! At first i must tell you that i am a newbie .. I collect a little bit experience buy surfing this great forum ..

So i opened a blog in blogger and attached some money making method on it .. I don't want to earn money from it right now .. I am in no hurry .. I just want to make my blog popular ..

Any kind of suggestions or tips would be greatly appreciated .. Thanks to all :-)

Go buy a .com or any other top level domain first then install wordpress and start your journey ;)
 
Please say thanks to these tips. First you want to hook your site to a twitter account. Make your post automatically tweet on the twitter accounts then join twiends and make your twitter account popular. Secondly set up a google alerts with your product, your niche and anything else that is relevant. Now the magic trick is to check you Google alerts regularly and visit every site and respond with a very good post. This should jump start your blog.
 
Though I don't know if you are looking for such tips. But it's worth a try....
What you should do: Don't write too many encyclopedic-like posts. Write too many, and your readers will get bored. Considering the fact that encyclopedic-like keywords need a lot of backlinking to rank high in the SERPs, you won't rank very high if you have too many keywords to rank for and not enough time to build enough backlinks. I suggest you write maybe 1 or 2 encyclopedic-like posts every month, add your own opinion into those 1-2 posts, and spend the rest of the month building backlinks towards those 1-2 posts.

Actually i think, if i want earn something then i must turn my website or blog to a popular one .. So right now i concentrate more to make it bigger and popular than earning money from it .. Hope you understand Mr. Jhonson and expect a effective reply or tips from you :D
 
Go for a tld dude , then switch to wordpress, it would be easy to rank it better with seo then. Easy and low cost.
 
If you want to make it popular then you have put some efforts in it. You can use strong backlink, which I think you have already have. Use long tail keywords and over all concentrate on its content. Always try keep it fresh and up to date. And as for your blog you can use a little bit attractive theme.

Great .. Nope i dont have any strong backlinks .. Guess i have to get it .. But what do you think , it is the suitable time ??
 
Yes it is high time, you got some strong backlink, as you are willing to make it public right now.
