Case Study - Follow me as I build another AdSense site

So it's been about 3 weeks. How much in AdSense revenue are you up to? Am I going to have to post a tutorial on how to make $2k your first month on here? lol

This is posted a few posts above yours. With charts, even.

I don't think some people even read the thread

Keep working on pushing your site up... from what I've read on this forum, once you hit the first page of Google it really starts to take off! :D

Great thread thanks for the REALISTIC insights to making an Adsense site and banking from it. Thanks!
Also it would be great if you could include a relative earnings graph, rather than a running total, so you can tally the direct results of any actions you've done to your earnings.

Just a suggestion and a "nice to have" as it'd be a tweak in Excel, but thank you for the info so far! Excellent!

Good stuff, keep updating us. I'd like to know how you fare through the new algorithm change.

Oh, you mean like showing the value of each AdSense click instead of just showing the total? The value of each click is not likely to change over time, so any "actions" I do aren't going to change the CPC. It's always going to be in roughly the same neighborhood of $0.50 to $1.50 or so, with the occasional high ($2+) and low ($0.01) randomly.

Or did you mean including the amount of money I've spent on the site relative to the earnings, to show net rather than gross?

Good luck with your site mate. Some people say that AdSense sites and pretty much MNS don't work anymore, those people are just too lazy to do proper SEO, quality linking and content.
Keep it up, scale it up. Cheers!

When I think of MNS I think of those shitty one or two page sites full of ads. Those have always been worthless because how much can a person really learn from two 300 word pages? lol.

Double lol if the content is spun.

If someone comes to one of my AdSense sites, the last thing they would think is "this is a MNS site." But you are right, most people don't want to do quality content and SEO. Instead of publishing good content, they hire someone to write some bullshit for $0.01 per word. Hey, want to know why your site sucks? It's because you have someone who doesn't know anything about a specialty topic writing about a topic that requires specific knowledge. It's like asking a 5 year old to write an article about internal combustion engines, and then optimizing your site for "how a car engine works." And then when the person gets to the page, they see this: "An car engine is makes the car go. Driving down the street is possible because of the engine. It is good to have an engine in your car. This is how a car engine works."

Worthless garbage

Yes, it's all white hat, no scrapebox or senuke or anything like that. In fact I don't use any tools or any sort of automation at all.

The shitty 1-2 page sites full of ads, I'd call them MFA sites. MNS sites aren't necessarily low quality and a good MNS site can provide a lot of value to end-users. The second thing is that quality isn't going to get you ranked. Quality is a negative ranking factor. What I mean is that poor quality will get you panda-ized, but quality isn't going to rank you. How does Google know that an article is good?

I actually meant the earnings relative to the actions made, I suppose this can be shown in the current accumulative earnings, but if you get a huge click though now and then a low amount of clicks anything past the large influx will be obscured.

Perhaps this is a little too granular. Thanks for the awesome thread though.

- position 40 (bottom of page 4)
- got another click for $0.72

The Penguin update has kind of thrown things for a loop so I'm not going to worry too much about my ranking for this site for the immediate future. Will still provide updates of course, though.
