GSA Search Engine Ranker worth it?

This can be avoided, by selecting:
Project Data > Settings > Options > If an option can't be filled (like category): "Chose Random"

The software actually closes any popups automatically after a fixed timeout period.

Now it rocks :)

Rep given thank you

I did not find Captcha Sniper working great on GSA. Captcha sniper has better results in platform dedicated tools when solving 1-2 types of captcha. Posting to WP with SB - has good ratio ;)
Here when You post to all (random) at once and have set up all captcha in CS - ratio drop down radical. So if you plan to buy CS ONLY to work with GSA its not as good as You can read in testimonials :)

Just tick the captcha services and turn it on, it will work

I have GSA set to only post on pages with pr1 or above but it seems to ignore that setting because 90% of my links are on pr0 pages, anyone else have this problem?

Also, most of the links i'm getting are on guestbook and very few on any other platform anyone else find this happening?

The PR is taken from the root not the page by the looks of it

I do see mostly guestbook posts. I have the same setting with pr1 or above, and I have it set to domain not page. But thats what I see when I leave it to go on its own. I have actually been taking the advice of another user in the thread and feeding it my own target lists and that kicks ass.

I use GSA to post to the captcha enabled blogs that Scrapebox slow poster messes up on (because scrapebox uses IE, and it keeps asking for certs, finding security issues or crashing)

For this it's a good tool - BUT you can post to most of the same blogs with the same level of success with NHSEO

The idea here is to add custom lists of good sites. Use scrapebox FIRST to get half a million sites. Test them, remove dupes etc, add say 100,000 to GSA with cash in your captcha solving account and some good comments just for you niche and let it run for a few days.

It's not very good with captchasniper. After about 20 solves CS seems to stop accepting new solves.

If you don't want guestbook comments just turn them off. It's not an issue is it?

Scritty,

Do you screen your scraped list from SB for low OBLs, PR, etc. before importing to GSA? Or do you let GSA do the grunt work with its own filters when posting? Just wondering if either/or is more efficient. I only have one VPS available to me at the moment so they'd be running at the same time on different projects. For example, GSA doing project #1, and ScrapeBox scraping URLs for project #2 in advance.

Is it possible to add your wordlist to find more good links? How many threads are u using in your blasts?

No i run the blog analyser, dupe checker and PR checker from scrapebox first.
Becasue of that a list of 600,000 becomes 90,000.

I'm not much bothered about the PR - but I let the poster check for too many OBL's (under 40)

I favour those that DO require captcha and slow poster, becasue they are not already full of spam and your link will actually be worth something.

You can do the same with scrapejet but it falls over if you try and add too many targets at once (so I split the lists to 10,000 max)

I don't want to end up with 50,000 $hitty links. I'd rather get 100 really good ones on hard to get sites that actually last. It works - but no-one else seems that bothered by the method, so I'll just carry on doing this..and winning :)

5...Why so low?

Because as soon as I push this figure up captcha sniper falls over or decaptcher just starts to reject or fail too many of my submissions - often charging for them as well.

Time not an issue really. It just runs 24/7 on a vps and adds links at a decent rate. I don't even try and index them, I would prefer they were found a few at a time.

I pressed that damn button again

2.86 - new: XML-Pings is no longer blocking the project
- new: XML-Pings send RSS-Feed and title of blog if available
- new: added support for upcoming CaptchaIntinity (untested)
- new: added support for Lindexed - http://www.lindexed.com
- new: improved social bookmarks
- new: improved detail-link finding of verified links again
- new: improved statistics diagrams

Thank you for your reply. And its not possible to add a keyword list in txt and gsa search footprint + kw? and have better success rate?

No but you can add your own footprints to the .ini files. If you go to your GSA installation folder inside you will see another folder called Engines. Inside the Engines folder is all of the platform engines that are used to search, post to the platforms, etc. So if you have your own mediawiki footprints you would like to add, you would simply open up the mediawiki.ini and add the footprints to the line that says searchterm=

You would have to open it up to see what I mean. The only thing is I'm pretty sure they go back to default after you update the software so you would have to backup your .ini files. It might even be better to email Sven and have him add the footprints so they're always there through the updates.

I think that's how it all works. I'm not 100% positive but looking through the files that's the impression I get.

Thank you for the reply. I think the coder of this software should add a kw list that every user can edit to analyze alll the possibilities such as: footprint+ kw. I hope he read this.

Another thing. I have problems to use gsa with captcha sniper. Any tutorial and best configuration to use with gsa?

Thank you

GSA must have been to much for Lindexed.com. Its broken now.

UPDATE:

I emailed the guy who runs lindexed and he replied in about 2 minutes:

We just changed the IP and it will show up shortly.

Has anyone tried CaptchaIntinity with GSA Search Engine Ranker? How is the success rate? Is it better than Captcha Sniper or the other way round?

I have GSA SER and ScrapeJet. I thought scrape jet was pretty cool, but I didn't get many links from it besides indexer links. Maybe 2 after letting it run for 2 days.

GSA SER on the other hand has given me 20 links in about an hour...and a much more diverse link profile. The category entry is limited...should support 2nd categories or parse for a substring match. The other gripe is it eats up resources like crazy.
