Recently, I came across a method that helped me in two different ways. This method will help create conversions for a CPA offer and help you rank at the same time.
The site I was promoting was a .org EMD for a 1900 Exact Local Monthly Searches keyword.The competition for the keyword was easy/moderate
The site is less then 7 days old I did NOT optimize the site in any way except for the title tag (imagine the results if you did). In fact, the site actually only had 2 pages: my homepage which was a mess and didn't contain any info, and my landing page, which I used for this whole process. I never intended to rank this site. I was just using it as a place to send Twitter traffic so that my conversions looked good to my CPA network.
The landing page consisted of a very basic "call to action" picture linking to my CPA offer. Basically, if someone was interested, they click the picture, if not, they leave the page. There was no text or other content as to keep the user focused.
I created between 15-20 different shortened versions of this url with 15-20 different link shortening services (bitly, googl, tinyurl, etc.) Then I created a spun Tweet that created about 4000 unique Tweets. I included the shortened urls as part of the spintax process so that Twitter would not begin to recognize any particular url and ban it.
Then, I scraped the followers of some industry leaders in my niche. I generated @replies with all of my 4000 different Tweets. I sent these out at a very safe pace, generally using only 1-3 accounts at a time to be safe (you can do more, I have begun to scale it and test its limits).
After sending about 1000 of these @replies, not only did my CPA offer convert pretty well, but I ranked #20 on Google in less then 7 days from when I bought the domain!
This method will NOT get you thousands of dollars a day, but it can easily be tweaked to get you around $50-$100 a day while ranking your site at the same time. Obviously, if you are actually trying to rank a site, you will want to do more SEO work, but this is a great foundation. After this most recent Panda update, Google loves seeing your link a lot on social media sites.
At the very least, you may want to add Twitter to your SEO campaign to help give you a boost.
