surveys for making money

Hi guys, just wanted to know if any of you have had any luck monetizing with polls or surveys on your site.
My site offers certain files free for download and so far the adsense revenue has been poor.
I was thinking of maybe adding polls or surveys to the site making them mandatory for people who want to download the files.
Any tips?

you are on the right track.. surveys can offer a lot more revenue then adsense. check out dollarupload..upload your files and you will earn for each download

Choose the polls that, keyword-wise, correspond to things people are interested in, and then provide a freebie download that corresponds to that interest. That way everything meshes.
