You'd have to be retarded to point a blog network similar to BMR or ALN directly at your money site if it wasn't incredibly well built. Extremely private networks without spun content and high PR should be fine. But, I don't consider those to really be networks, more like privately owned sites.

Yes,buying your own domains is the next best thing

ADWORDS. sooner or later Google will kill every shit type of SEO so that we would have no other thing to use except ADWORDS.

Diversity is the key its been said here a million times before and these links will always be effective as part of a diverse SEO strategy, I laugh at all these fools that only used BMR to rank their sites, 100s of SEO companies all falling because they relied totally on BMR, ALN or HPRS for their clients sites (all of which have been hit hard now) they never would have had this problem if they'd played the game right!

This is the way i see it and tbh it's just common sense....

All the networks I'm talking about have paid options, that's not the point the point i was making is those networks specificly buying up high pr aged domains and using them entirely for this purpose, it screams foot print, another huge foot print i noticed in common with these hit networks is the signature or w/e you call it they add on at the end

I could name you a lot of networks off the top of my head that are all still running fine and have not seen any negative impact from this deindexing carry on, look around they are not hard to find!

They did. However, not all sites were hit. Actually, only 1% (just an estimate) of all sites that did blackhat in anyway got hit.

Not so. Only those who are found out/look at manually. There are simply too many sites to penalize and they can't afford to put something in the algo's that will hit all of them including those whose links are just planted by competitors.

When you interlink one to another, that's a footprint. When you have every domain in the same hosting account, that's a footprint. If all of them have 5 posts linking to the same domains then that's a footprint. A footprint is basically anything that can be used to tie the sites of a network together.

Yes, the owner is bearing all the costs but the main profit is in the rankings of the site. A network is only expensive when you buy them. Once they are up and running and your sites are getting link juice from them, the costs are nothing from the sales you will get from the awesome SERP movements.

You can still add users though but for only people you trust and can pay big money for these links. In order to be risk-free, keep the network to yourself so as to work as your "secret" weapon.

Interesting point there. That might be a footprint that many are not aware of.

You can easily put fake information on the domains, however, you can't easily fake the CC and PP used for the purchase though.

I think its dead simple. Same reason so many of us had our sites spanked/ sandboxed/ deindexed. Shit content, or links from shit sites. Right? I mean I've used quite a few of the networks that got hit. What do they all have in common? Well 1. they put out spinned content, a lot of it which is junk on their network. 2. The content is all over the place as far as topic/category/keywords. There's your footprints! The new algo came out which specifically targets this type of BS! So guess what, your site takes a hit.

If you're a blog network site with thousands of shit spun articles, no unifying theme, crap layout, guess what ... you get deindexed!

If your site has thousands of links coming from those shitty deindexed sites, guess what... you get bitch slapped, or worse also deindexed!

The search engines are not that smart! They don't have secret access to secret info, they don't use OCR! They've developed a way to tell grammatically incorrect content/ spun content which doesn't make any sense, versions of which appear all across the web on sites that post way to much unrelated garbage every single day and have deindexed them. End of story!

If a lot of your links come from deindexed sites, you will be penalized. If flags go off about your site's content and or links, you might have someone come check it out, and if it's crap, you might get deindexed.

Everything else is just BS.

So to the original question. If the blog network is made of only quality sites, with set categories for niches, which only uses original content, with only the absolute minimum high quality spinning applied. Which also supports image and video in the content, then you should use it. If not, stay away,

I respect your opinion but I would like you to analyze my scenario

I am in a extremely competitive niche and I tried all sorts of methods on my site and there were no rankings....then I tried a few Blog network services on this forum and I noticed a rise in rankings

I guess I am not wrong in assuming that those network services gave me the rankings

Then suddenly my rankings drop all of a sudden (from 3 to 41,from 4 to 38 and so on)

I started checking my links in Google webmaster and most of the blog posts which they did,dont exist now....after this I checked that even the blogs dont exist now

I haven't used BMR and had submitted 6-7 articles to ALN for this site

Now how to get out of this??

Moreover,are they penalizing pages or the entire website?

Should I do some bookmarks/article submissions manually and will I be fine?

Have you got proof or is this just information you've heard and recycling? I've recently got a test site to rank for 4 kws, straight to page 1 within 2 weeks. Purely Using Social Bookmarks, Wiki links supported by blog comments.

Honestly if you haven't done extensive testing you shouldn't be making statements on what you may think. Sorry to sound like I'm being an ass but you obviously aren't using those platforms mentioned above correctly.

As for blog networks, I highly suggest building your own private network.
