Is a domain name really important?

Hi all. I'm new to whole SEO, bh or wh. I'm reading a lot last days to get to know with IM, but i'm at the point where I have to ask you about something.

Is domain name really important? I'm planning to start some MNS, knowing about keyword and niche research. I read that it's good to have keywords in domain name, also it should be reasonable and as most easy to remember as possible. But there are some niches, where best .coms are taken, but there's still plenty of place to start an MNS or two. So - is it really important to have proper domain name?

In my opinion it's not needed anymore.

I'm using a superior (for example: KW = dog then i would use animal) keyword combined with something like "review" or something.
I can not see any differences compared with the ones who have all keywords in URL.

2. Keyword rich or exact math

If you can get a exact match brandable keyword then your problem is solved otherwise try to reach

I should thank you too, but that would be like a post count for me. So, about brands, it's not quite safe, is it? I mean, okay, bh pays well, but I want to combine it and stay with the business for longer time without a ban or something.

domain name is really a worthy thing to count on as it is the first impression of your site regardless of content, but content of course is the foremost thing of a site along with the respective keywords*

Yes. Domain name is very very important for a website. The name will hold the idea of what is the website all about. This will assure that visitors can easily remember your site.

For me, I will go for brandable domains as i don't do MNS anymore. If you really want to do MNS, stick with EMDs (it still works although not as effective as before) or if possible get a brandable domain that you can use to expand into an authority site should the need arises.
