Godady ...Stay Away.

They backtracked their stand on SOPA

So fucking what. They need to be made an example of. When they are dead on the side of the road, having been ass-fucked to death by a large brahma bull, then we'll forgive them. Until then they can spend their days trying to figure-out how to get rid of the herpes Danica Patrick gave them.

Your title of thread is wrong. Godaddy is one of the biggest domain registrar. Try to email their customer service, as these exceptions can happen any time.

I have left using godaddy..........they charged me a lot for domain renewal

Godaddy is great for promos like 1.49$ , 2.99$ domains and for their domain auctions. Godaddy's hosting is a sad joke.

B.

Godaddy is fair for domain registration, cheap with many discount.

Namecheap all the way, simple site. Easy to use. Good support. What else can you ask for?

Yesterday I register a domain with Godaddy, and when today I logged in their site . I was welcome with a Suspended account message .
Just now I submitted the requested document they need. But I got one confusion , I purchased the domain through VCC .And in vcc we get " site-name user" in place of my Name , will this be problem in verification.
Thanks for the heads up. I will stay away from GODADY. But i will still buy my domains from their twin godaddy like I have for years with no problems :D

You have a low IQ if you use godaddy for anything. nuff said.

I dont face any issues everything is going fine just raise a ticket and talk with them.....

can i ask a really dumb question here?

what does vcc mean in this context?

That depends on your definition of "using." Their domain monitoring, where they watch and and attempt to auto-purchase a domain for you, lasts forever, and you can switch the domain it monitors. Since I already had a bunch, I'm keeping them around, even after transferring all my domains to NameCheap. I like the thought that GoDaddy's being bled a tiny bit each month by continuing to work for me, even as I direct my dollars and recommendations to NameCheap.

What's low-IQ is not beginning to suspect that something's seriously wrong with a company when they get that desperate in their advertising. Not that I'm claiming that I jumped ship at that moment, but it's the first time I thought I might eventually wind up switching to someone else. I can't think of one rock-solid ISP, VPN service, or anything else that ever got so AXE Body Spray about their advertising. It's one thing to advertise bad beer that way, your product's all the same. But if Microsoft decides they need to show some flesh to distract you from their cloud downtime, it's time to leave Azure.
