$1000 to invest - Am I doing this right?

It definitely sounds like a good starting plan, one that you have thought through pretty well. For tools, go with as many free ones when starting out. Sign up for free trials and you still also notice that you'll be learning an extremely valuable and powerful IM method if you aren't already familiar with it - CPA. In the short term, CPA earns fast and requires the least amount of time to get started. My best CPA offers start earning the same day that I start them and just continue to build more income after day 1.

SB is a must have. Spend the money here for sure and wait for some of the other programs until you have enough $ coming in. The other critical software you will want to have when starting out is a good e-mail auto responder program (especially if you're thinking of creating review sites). Many programs come with free trial offers so you can start immediately making $ before you even buy it.

Capturing targeted niche traffic is so valuable in IM and sometimes overlooked by people starting out. Many top IMers say that CPA is their largest income source and even switch to this method completely. Building your e-mail list takes time but from the first one you capture, you will be starting to earn immediately.

The Adsense sites work well when you buy packages. Start work on ranking those sites and don't be afraid to dump the weaker ones and purchase a few more. Time is the issue with adsense sites so you may wish to add these to your IM mix only after you are making decent $ on your other campaigns.

Your offline strategy may need to take a back seat for a while so you can really focus on your online methods. If you are confident that you can start making solid earnings with this offline method right away, then go for it. One of my offline money makers became a favorite niche subject of mine to promote and is now a full-fledged online store tied directly to review sites with my CPA offers. The traffic between the two is incredible!

I started out in IM 6 months after quitting my real world job that wasn't keeping pace with my expenses. During that initial few months, I was selling 'junk' that I had on eBay. Looking to expand my eBay business, I began reading and absorbing as much free material as possible before getting my feet wet in IM. Now, I still sell on eBay but a majority of my income comes through CPA. Adsense sends me my checks still but is very little of what I do.

I wanna wish you much luck in your ventures!
CPA is great method of monetization but I cant do anything with it until I have some websites ranked. Monetizing is the easy part.

I'm not into email lists. And I'm sure it takes forever to build them.

How do you promote your CPA offers? SEO? banner ads? ppc?

Thanks for your tips.

Personally I'd go with the micro niche websites, but like previously said only go with 1 method at a time!

Hey bro, I didn't see your post before I put mine up, but I came across your post about investing, and I found a pretty good blog about a guy that shows you how to make lots of money blogging every month. He shows you step by step in an ebook from the blogging platform to use all the way to getting easy backlinks. It's only $1 here's the link:

I have done PPC for some of my campaigns in the past and now I focus on Niche review sites. The ranking of a website for CPA offers works in long term, but in short term, I have succeeded by posting blog comments as well as forum post by searching for recent topics of interest and providing a solution along with a link to where I found it. This builds trust with the targeted person looking for the solution and after they visit my site, they often make a purchase the same day. I have done this with everything from Clickbank, Commission Junction, Amazon, and ShareASale products with lots of success.

The sites I create for my CPA offers are only just a few pages, much similar to my Adsense sites. There is more info on the forums about this short term method if you're interested in looking around. Also, you may PM me if you'd like more info.

PM sent. Thanks for the info.

The BEST thing that you can do is to outsource a squeeze page with a high converting Clickbank product, have 7 day email autoresponder series, and something to entice visitors to opt-in to your squeeze page.

You then focus on buying traffic.

This method can earn easily $500+ per day with some split-testing.

The buying traffic part is interesting. As far as I'm concerned, the traffic has to be targetted. Where do you suggest we should look into to buy that kind of traffic?

OP, tell us. What have you been doing now?
Got my tax refund debited. A little less than I expected though.

I've been researching/talking to sellers/finalizing the steps to acquire one or more of an amazon store, a micro niche adsense site(s), a squeeze page and paid traffic, hiring a part time VA, etc.

I was going to focus on my online business for now but I got a call from a contact I talked to about 6 months ago. He referred me to a big offline client he's friends with. So I have a meeting coming up too. Though I'm a bit nervous. Let see what happens next.

You better make the sites yourself, find a cheap outsourcer and buy some blasts.Smallest investment possible and incredible big roi on flipping/selling the website.Imagine the capital of 20x/month of the money u make monthly from ur site ;)

ill sell you my amr for cheaper. im not using it.
I originally read this as " I'll send you my arm for cheaper. im not using it."

I almost thought about buying it too and training it to do all the manual link building.

Keyword with 1000 exact searches, EMD, 1$ cpc and little competition = $12
Two original articles = $10
Theme setup, design, plugins, Onsite SEO = 1 hour

Getting it all done for $27 from a BST thread = outsourcing = priceless!:D

I appreciate your input, but if you could tell me how I could save money/time by another kind of outsourcing than I'd be thankful.

If I were you I'd try PPC + CPA with small amounts of money. Once you master it, you can make loads of money.
