$1000 to invest - Am I doing this right?

Good day BH'ers.

I haven't had success with anything yet due to lack of resources (time, money, tools).

I have about $1000 to invest now and would like to make the most of it.

Money can buy tools, and also time (outsourcing).

I earlier talked to a good friend of mine here at BHW who's always generous to offer me advice. I'd appreciate more opinions/advice on some of my ideas:


I plan to do both online and offline marketing. Offline pays fast. Online (seo) is slow money, and I'm honestly too short on money to be investing into long term projects only. Once I have some short term money coming in, I can work on long term projects.

ONLINE

Buy Tools - Scrapebox for $57. AMR for $77 or should I just buy blasts? BMD for $147 is too expensive, so I'll just buy blasts. I already have SenukeX but it sucks.

Buy niche sites - Some BHers are selling some pre-made adsense sites for as low as $27 each in BST.

Hire a VA - Have him write articles, spin them, make manual 2.0s, and make him post/comment in latest forums and blogs to drive quick traffic to my review sites, as shared by Meatball in his method thread.

Keyword Research - Buy/subscribe to a keyword database service offered in the BST section and buy some good EMDs.

OFFLINE

- Get a DBA

- Hire someone to research and mail out a 100 letters to targeted local companies offering local SEO (Google places letter, found in the download section) and ORM (7878's method)

- Hire someone, or the same person above, to cold call targeted companies for online services.

- Use the VA to do all the manual stuff for Google places etc.


I'd love some suggestions and advice from each of my blackhatter from another mother.

The site might make you $50-100 per month (MIGHT)

Not the quickest ROI.

a few advice for you mate - yes, you must have SB, but dont waste your money on AMR, and no point you're spending money on BMD if you havent got more than 10 domains..

Dont buy MSN, do your own research and register your own EMD and buy articles,

I didn't say I'll spend the rest of it ranking that one micro niche site I buy, lol. What I meant was I'll also buy a site in addition to developing more sites (see the keyword research service and VA I mentioned) So buying one or two micro niche sites is something extra I was thinking of doing. In fact, they already come ranked on or near the first page.

And the reason for this thread was to learn from you guys, not just stating what I'm going to do. I'm obviously a bit confused.

personally id get the tools you want to use, talk to cyberzilla order 5 domains, order 5 shared hosting accounts ( $2 - $5 each), setup wordpress and such and then start your marketing strat for each and see what ones work better ext.. Sell some to work on others or put more into the performers.

And I wasn't going to buy MSN, but I was considering a service like IFN (itches for niches). What do you think?

First things first, develop a plan. Do you want to buy Micro Niche sites, or do you want to sell SEO services? Obviously, you can do both, but that should be part of your plan.

Once you know WHAT you want to do, decide HOW you are going to do it. Are you going to outsource everything, do it all yourself, or a combo?

By that point, your purchases should be obvious. If you are going to outsource your SEO work, allot money for that. If you are going to do it all yourself, buy al te programs that are part of your SEO strategy. If you are going to both, plan for that. I think you get the point...

Yeah thats the first thing I'm gonna do once I make some money with IM. As I said in the OP, I've never made shit with IM. This is my tax refund money that I should be giving back to my family.

So why haven't you given back to BHW yet with a Jr.VIP status, since according to you every method here works and you seem to know all about it?

I mean when you start with a method try it at least 10 times, so you will master a method, with your own twist.

I definitely agree with that. My biggest problem always was (and still is to an extent) trying numerous methods at once and focusing loosely on all of them instead of a refined focus on a small number.

Every one will fail on SEO part. Since we can get good content and web design by outsourcing at affordable cost. Getting a trusted SEO who does manual SEO is very difficult.

It definitely sounds like a good starting plan, one that you have thought through pretty well. For tools, go with as many free ones when starting out. Sign up for free trials and you still also notice that you'll be learning an extremely valuable and powerful IM method if you aren't already familiar with it - CPA. In the short term, CPA earns fast and requires the least amount of time to get started. My best CPA offers start earning the same day that I start them and just continue to build more income after day 1.

SB is a must have. Spend the money here for sure and wait for some of the other programs until you have enough $ coming in. The other critical software you will want to have when starting out is a good e-mail auto responder program (especially if you're thinking of creating review sites). Many programs come with free trial offers so you can start immediately making $ before you even buy it.

Capturing targeted niche traffic is so valuable in IM and sometimes overlooked by people starting out. Many top IMers say that CPA is their largest income source and even switch to this method completely. Building your e-mail list takes time but from the first one you capture, you will be starting to earn immediately.

The Adsense sites work well when you buy packages. Start work on ranking those sites and don't be afraid to dump the weaker ones and purchase a few more. Time is the issue with adsense sites so you may wish to add these to your IM mix only after you are making decent $ on your other campaigns.

Your offline strategy may need to take a back seat for a while so you can really focus on your online methods. If you are confident that you can start making solid earnings with this offline method right away, then go for it. One of my offline money makers became a favorite niche subject of mine to promote and is now a full-fledged online store tied directly to review sites with my CPA offers. The traffic between the two is incredible!

I started out in IM 6 months after quitting my real world job that wasn't keeping pace with my expenses. During that initial few months, I was selling 'junk' that I had on eBay. Looking to expand my eBay business, I began reading and absorbing as much free material as possible before getting my feet wet in IM. Now, I still sell on eBay but a majority of my income comes through CPA. Adsense sends me my checks still but is very little of what I do.

$1,000 is a lot of money. I would learn things on my own, but thats just me.


Focus on hiring someone who does in-house SEO for you, and agree to show a report of what they provided instead of handing money right away.

It is good that you know what you are doing and not blindly putting in your money. The number of methods (which actually works 100%) discussed in BHW is good enough to make everyone here to make a good amount of money. However people out here fail because they lack the staying power, before establishing a method fully, they jump to method 2 (looking for quicker success) as a they keep jumping they fail in every attempt.

Your plan is good, just stick to it until you get the success.

You can save good money buying getting a VPS with most of the tools you need which is somewhere to 50$/month. That's good for long term because after you will get some results/profit you will simply afford all tools.

If you're talking about BHS VPS, then the good ones are never available.
