Tweet Attacks Wait And Reply Is Now Toast

This software is done for. When you have lawyers breathing down your neck you hand over everything. Rest assured, Twitter now has the source code and probably all subscribers to this program. It would not take much work to detect how this program works and ban accounts quickly. We can also assume the author is working with Twitter to expedite the process. Believe me I know how this works. I for one am really pissed and will be doing a Paypal charge back. I paid $127 for lifetime access not just 2 months. I assume the only reason the author stated in his email he would continue support for the programs is to avoid the massive charge backs that will be incoming.

I think the right way used TA is impossible to detect. Twitter can't start massive account banning because he would also suspend many regular accounts in the process.
I'm still using W&R, over 500k replies sent from 4200 accounts and they are still ok.

btw Why would anybody give away TA source code? There is no law against TA creators, or TA users.

You have lawyers from a company the size of Twitter serve you legal papers. What do you do ?

A. Screw you. There's no law against creating and having thousands of twitter accounts. Or having the whole process automated. Take me to court.

B. I'm not looking to spend hours of my time and thousands of dollars in a big legal fight. I'm going to cooperate any way I can.

Twitter will not just ask for the software to not be sold anymore. They will want to know everything.

O, forget all that stuff I just wrote. Here's the biggest question -->

If there's nothing illegal about it WHY STOP SELLING IT ???

EDIT : And yes, it is illegal. The author is profiting off the Twitter name/brand.

I'm not exactly sure how the law works in US, I'm from Europe and here we have tons of written rules as the main source of law. As far as I know the US law is mainly based on the judge's (or jury's?) decision in court so there is a posibility of loosing the lawsuit even though on paper nobody did anything wrong.

Still, I have no idea why they stopped selling it, the host has taken down their website because twitter said they be spammin' precious twitter users, so what? I wouldn't stop selling it, if the software was mine :)

And your "facts" are based on - what ? On instinct ? Or you are good friend with software creator and he told you ?

I have had close friends that were in the same situation. Not trying to be a dick but, I'm 100% right about this. Let's see what happens.

LOL, guys and gals, the software still works. Wait and reply is working on 3 instances on my dedicated server. Most of your theories are speculations.

If you paid for the software the you would have seen this email. Here is an extract which clearly says its being supported. I have had it for 2 years now and its always been well looked after. What are we supposed to believe that you know how these things work? So stop assuming and give us some facts please.

Extract
"Recently you might have noticed the downtime in our website, yes we had a downtime few days ago and you have the rights to know why.

Twitter contacted our web host to suspend our domain because of selling Twitter Account Creator which according to them, violates Twitters TOS.

This is not really bad news for TA customers but mostly for affiliates. Twitter Account Creator is the only problem but we decided to close our doors for both TA and TAAC and "we will no longer sell new licenses of those products".

Will new licenses of TA become available again? There is no plan yet, but right now we want to stop selling new licenses. We can still sell TA and profit from it but we decided not to because this action is the most beneficial to all of us, for current TA customers, for Twitter and to everyone who is it."

Well, since this is going to turn into a flamefest I'll make this short. I resent the fact you assume I didn't pay for it. Why would I care if I didn't ? As I stated previously, I have had very close friends in a similar situation and know how it works out. So I guess you can say I'm basing my "facts" on life experience. Take care.

man the software is no longer being sold so i am sure this has something to do with your problems. software stop being sold = developers are too tired to make updates, unless the soft is a monthly subscription which TA is not. so dont expect the soft to keep working perfectly forever. the same happened with spk and all of his y0utube bots. simple.

Prove that you have a license. Otherwise, you're grandstanding and trolling.

Better yet, ask help desk to transfer license and if approve then I might just buy it.

Have you ever heard of this fact: LOCATION, LOCATION and LOCATION

There is a huge bunch of apple knockoffs sold every day publicly via online and offline... yeah you can consider it illegal but LOCATION, LOCATION and LOCATION.

If you know how, i would like you to find us a list of countries where twitter brand name is protected/patented. If i'm right, TA team is located at asia (remote huntch about indonesia..)? so i think twitter brand aint protected in their region.

*sigh* These guys get busted all the time. Ever hear of musoland ? ( google it) This guy is from the land of no trademarks/copyrights and still is in the slammer with a 3.5 million dollar fine to boot. But, I must ask again, if everything is all fine and dandy with TA, WHY STOP SELLING IT ?

Whats illegal about this soft?
Twitter allows multiple accounts.
We are just tweeting/following/unfollowing from multiple accounts as are the other so called legit applications in the market e.g. socialoomph

What about tweet adder? the author is also profiting from Twitter name.
and he is still selling his product.

I'm not having problem with the wait and reply module, you'll need an aged account with a nice bio and pic thats all :)
