ya,tks for support me xD,ok,so i will change my title to h1 tag, hmm, but i think my h1 size is bigger,so,can i change h1 font size to smaller ?

Very simple task if your using Wordpress, just go to your CSS and change the "font size"

GL on your journey :)
ya,tks xD,im using blogger, and ive change my title to h1 tag, hmm,i checked all blogger template but none of them use any h1 tag ~~!
btw,tks everyone xD...

In my experience I cannot tell effective difference between the use of the two. They are mainly detecting for keywords in headers for any type IMO but I do think combined use is good. Others have said h1 is more effective but I have not seen it in actual results myself. I would tend to agree though

dude what do you mean by your friend saying h1 is bad for seo.first of all keeping aside the seo stuff how can you have h2 tag without h1 on your sites inner pages, did you done the coding of your site template by yourself because you can't have h2 tag without having h1 first.about the seo stuff they all matters(h1,h2,h3,....) but they has to come chronologically & over optimizing sites with those stuff is bad for seo now a days(check recent Google updates to know more about it).

Your friend is correct. Use H1 for titles.

<h1> refers to the main accent of your websites so better use <h1> tag in most of the case

A lot of themes use the H1 tag for the logo, and H2's as page titles.

In these cases if you change the H2 tag to an H1 tag, you will have two H1 tags on the page.

Your main page keyword phrase should be worked into the H1 tag, and there should only be one per page.

Those of you showing multiple posts on the home page may have multiple H1 tags, and without even knowing it, be hurting your seo.

yes, theoretically is bad for seo, but I tried this out, and I had no problem. Also you can use new html5 tag hgroup with the h1 title. This let know you to google that it is the h1 title.

This is what I tested...

i ran a test like this without telling anyone. I have 1 site ranking 1 for 3 keywords; using h2 and h3 only (h1) is no where on the domain.

Didn't know that, thanks, I will test this too. I used a theme called Qualifire that had the H1 header for the logo and it never moved up the SERPs until I snapped to it and removed it. Actually I changed the logo to an H2 and included an H1 as the post/page title. This was I guess 3-4 months ago ( I made a post about it). it will be great if this is no longer the case. The logo is larger with the H1 tag and looks better, it even affects the size of the image there.

Looking through the css i cant find how to change the font size for headers. Any help would be appreciated, thx
