What kind of backlinks?



I dont have such a information. I wouldnt been surprise they are harvesting some data off Chrome - but it will be more likely used for Advertising and targeting rather than SEO.

Mostly high pr and low OBL blog commenting and quality ALN posts (with very readable content, embed videos) + web 2.0 pyramids, some bookmarks, PR`s and other type of lnks.

Just rechecked the positions:

uniquesitedomain.com - 1
unique site domain - 37
primary keyword - 152
second primary keyword - not in 250
all other keywords I am checking - not in 250....

May I pm you the link of the site? This happened to my other 4 lower quality sites during December, they are still ranking for domainnames.tdl but they still don`t rank for any of the keyywords for those reasons that site I am talking about here probably the last site (I can`t take it anymore mentally) I am going to make so it means a lot to me. Thanks.

Is there anything you can do if your site has been deindexed from google serps?

I had a site that was doing great and then one day "poof" gone. Now I dont want to waste my time on it if there is nothing I can do.

Just wanted to get your opinion on this if I could.

I have problem on my site all my keywords suddenly from no#1 and #2 drop to no way now from my primary domain name but the weird thing is my subdomain point to my primary domain (1.xxx.com) still rank well at google with the same keywords that rank no#1 and no#2 from the primary domain previously

I just do some backlinks for my primary domain using blog network and linkpushing by last few weeks

Is it get penalty by BIG G for my primary domain? but why my subdomain still rank well

any clue?

No excessive advertising - 2 ad blocks are enough, 3 is a lot, 4+ can affect your rankings

What is exactly meant by that? Say I want to promote products from Amazon on my site, does this mean that I have to promote only two products or does it mean two products per page?

That's too bad. Chrome is definitely the fastest browser I have experienced. Firefox just kept getting more and more sluggish. I wouldn't put it past Google to be tracking every single thing we do in the browser though...

I am using Chrome - its pretty cool and tbh - I dont give a damn on how much they track me (the only tracking they get is for advertising purpose).

My site that has been #1 for the last 3 years has dropped to #3 in the UK and #5 in the US.

I received a message in Webmaster Tools in mid feb saying:

Google Webmaster Tools notice of detected unnatural links to my site

I have been using private blog network since january.

There is another thread about it - I recommend removing Webmaster Tools ASAP - its a big mistake to have it when you do BH...

Google is assuming that money oriented marketers wont work on website will leave it - only working on website when its penalized can bring it back.

Subdomains are like different websites for G. They are not so likely to connect Subdomain to root domain anymore.

As it is Amazon you can promote more products of course.

Too busy atm.
There is a market for such a service but no-one seems to be willing to take responsibility in case if website wont move up... Its a lot of custom work tbh...

Regarding the private blog network case, I can talk a little bit of my recent experience:

- First the site lost a lot of rankings and some even felt of top 100, at the same time, when the blog networks got deindexed.

- After that, I continued to build some better links and bought also 3 high pr links from related authority domains in my niche. Costly (monthly payment), but worth it.

- Further, 2 providers also re-did the blog network links recently

- Meanwhile, I had new links from new web 2.0 blogs with good spun content and high pr links from manual blog commenting comming in every day.

<-- THIS all gave the site his old rankings back and some improved even quite good.
Conclusion for me is, to not use bad, sold blog networks to the public with bad spun content anymore.

But what I very often see at other site's is, that they do mistakes from step 1 ( bad anchor variation etc. )

With regards to changing the title/keywords/description slightly:
do you mean change all of the pages on the site or just a few main pages?

I have a website with 150,000 pages...

I could change them all with a cron job, but would just like to know if its necessary?

Found this thread by searching for my problem, I'm glad im not the only one with that message

Unfortunately I have responded with a list of suspect Links to Google so i suppose im within their Radar now

I have 2 sites this happened to Both my business sites, no linking going on for 12 months or more but suppose Google has a long memory and im sure that i do have links on those so called networks if im honest

First site dropped 3-10 places for all keywords other site 3-200 places and seems to be the most competitive keyword that dropped so makes sense what you say to do will work

Im taking the advice On 1 of my sites Now so will post back in a few days, i will await the automated message back from Google for my reconsideration request, once i get that i will delete my whole Account and hopefully get back to earning some money

So many thanks for taking the time to post this guide, i guess you have your skeptics but for me its worth a go and hopefully see some results

Thanks for the info EW. I am going to apply some things here. BTW, regarding penalties, there is a "GoogleRatingGuidelines.pdf" around. If you are going to modify your websites I will recommend to give it a look. It is what Google gives to manual reviewers.
