Yeah craigslist is one of the easiest places to get work doing just about anything and if you stick to just online jobs you can check out all the big cities and find a ton of things to do.
Good Luck and keep us updated
Cheers! I am going to work on a script now, to use in the C.L. ad.
Yeah, I may not know much of anything, really, but a friend of mine is going to take me under his wing, and if I get some jobs he will help me out.
I'll do some... SEO work for people. Buddy of mine tells me I know more than I think. Says that after our hours of conversation, and how I just go into fits of different ideas, etc, he believes with the enthusiasm and the good ideas I spit out, I will do very well. Basically, he will be the one to hear my ideas and help me to put them "on paper", so-to-speak. As you all can tell by now, it takes me forever to explain something. But he is right about one thing: I am extremely enthusiastic . He says he created a monster, lol. I told him nah, I got into this because there is really not much else for me to do. Sick of being spat on by employers, making them rich. I think it's time to (try to) get paid for something I feel a lot of passion for. And this stuff? OI, it's the amazing room you get to be creative! And heck, it can only get better, aye? Learn some new tricks, do LOTS and LOTS of research, books are to me what vagina is to, well, most of us I'd think, haha. Sorry bout that. Anyway, thanks so much for all the ideas!
oooooohh right, I had one other concerns. It is in regards to the robots.txt file. Strange, some are telling me to use 1 below, and I believe it is 2. Feedback?
1. User-agent: *
Disallow: /
(This one is how I think it ought be, or rather is)
2. User-agent: *
Disallow:
Would "Disallow:" not mean to allow ALL bots, and the "Disallow: /" not mean do NOT index the entire thing?
Mind you, I did block the needed folders. That was just an example. I am getting different answers from different people, and it is confusing! lol
Hm, perhaps this thread should be renamed to "Haidens help thread" haha.
