What goes around comes around

Definitely story of the day, exactly what goes around come around. And sometime things just "come around" late so people think that it's not come around at all. You're wrong, one doing bad deeds and karma will bite you back soon or later.

No need to bash me bro. I was just pointing out your minor error. I will now not comment to your thread in the future. Happy now ? :D

Thanks. Much appreciated.

I set my phone down somewhere the other day and somebody stole it
..guess I have bad karma eH?

What an idiot. Can someone ban this guy? BTW great story OP.

Here in England, many people complain about Polish people, 'they steal our jobs etc'. One time, I lost my wallet. Cash, cards the whole deal. About 5 minutes after I got home, a Polish guy is at my door with my wallet. Nothing taken and he had travelled miles to bring it to me. I offered him 20 pounds as a reward, but he would not take it. The week before I found a stray cat and took it home as a pet. I'm sure the wallet thing was a karma payback deal. I also think it works the other way round. Do shitty stuff and you can be sure you will get bad luck from it.

No it's not. It works on everyone.

Karma is just another weird word for some (me for example). :-) I prefer the American version:

When I do good, I feel good; when I do bad, I feel bad, and that is my religion.
//Abraham Lincoln

Do you have another word for karma, not a whole quote? Is there an English word for that? I think I use the word as we don't have a word for it in English.

So I just bought a new laptop the other day and today I went to a shop to buy a bag for it.

The guy showed me the bag, I asked the price and he said 500 rupees ($7 USD). I paid him the money cause I knew for good that bag was worth 1000 rupees ($14 USD).
I then walked into bank and came back to that computer store to buy a mouse as well. The guy told me that he didn't know the actual price and the owner had asked him to put 500 from his own pocket cause the actual price of the bag was 1000 rupees. I feld bad for him and paid him another 500 - he was bloody happy for that!

10 minutes later I dropped my cell phone on the road and didn't know about it but a guy stalked me holding my phone and finally got me at a bakery and returned the phone to me. I bought him a drink for being this honest!

What goes around, comes around :) Be nice to others and others will be nicer to you!

A 12-year close friend of mine asked me to join in his business as a partner. I did a lot of good work which he uses till today. Screwed me completely and never got a single cent.

Something shitty will happen to him. Just you wait and see.

I don't know any other word for Karma. I just meant that the entire concept is alien to me. I'm far from Budhism/Hindu or any other religion.

Doing something good in order to get something good in return is a little weird in my eyes - its like forcing yourself to be a good person due to fear of hell.

I prefer doing something good out of pure altruism. And I don't think there is a word for that.

I'm far from religious. It's just a word I use for want of a better one. I have noticed a pattern of 'payback' in my own life though, both good and bad.

I guess people start to loose track of the conversion rates when they start making dollars online, 20 pounds doesnt equal 15 dollars.

Just saw that now. My bad. :o

Hey you bastard, Mind your own business. Don't try to become extra smart!

Shut the fuck up, dude. Next time I see you post rubbish, I'll try my best to help you go on a vacation.
Take your shit somewhere else.
