Steal old article from ezine, spin it, submit it?

Spin article is always spin, it doesn't matter you spin manually or through some tool.

It would have to be very well-spun (manually) and very evergreen content, which is rarer than you think. Otherwise, how else would the article be relevant or the keywords profitable or the interest in the topic fresh? Are you going to spin articles about hoodia or acai berries or tech trends from 2007? Might as well start from scratch, IMO.

They are all saying the same thing in different words.

You may add a few hundred to them and it will be listed in SERPs as well.

I wouldn't spin the articles, just rewrite them. I've never had a good experience with spinning articles, especially none that I would claim as my own work. I know spinning is quick and easy, but a few more minutes of your time might just result in a few more dollars on top of your earnings for you.

We are all missing a great point here. While you may think your idea is a great one, I don't think so. Remember, your site may be penalized even when Google finds its links around shallow content. So, do you want to do that?

Seems like the OP is stuck in 2008. That idea wouldn't have worked five years ago, unless you edited the spin results to at least read like human written garbage, as opposed to computer generated garbage. Try re-writing manually every time, in order to save you re-editing work on the back end when ezine rejects the spun submissions.

Not very likely in my experience. Or submit the article to another article site.

Eh... it might work, that's all I can give you. However, spun articles always seem to read like spun articles especially when they are program-spun. To take the time that would be involved in manually spinning them you might as well be re-writing, especially if you want them to read as unique enough to post on the site. By all means let the themes and tone of the original article inspire you, but just spinning the article doesn't sound like much of a strategy to me.
