One of my first method shares on BHW some people might know this and others might not, but its meant as an eye opener for some as people may not realise they can offer it as a service along side any other marketing services they offer.
The method is to offer a service in printing marketing materials such as business cards, flyers, leaflets, posters etc etc. Now your not physically going to be printing the products yourself, your going to be a broker. Believe it or not the majority of the companies providing this service don't actually print the goods themselves, rather they are brokers who just take orders and probably do the designs. In other words they are middle men.
It is pretty straight forward and I'm hoping most of you who are interested in this method have the resources to put it into action. Here is a list of the possible things you may require to make it successful.
When you start getting orders just take what the customer wants get it designed, then show the customer and make any edits that they request, contact your printer get it printed, job done.
Ive outlined this so people can see it is possible, most of you are capable of doing this to a good level.
SEO companies and other offline companies can offer this on the side and even higher a designer to run the operation for you while you do nothing but the seo and website work.
Hope this was helpful, thanks.

- A shop front/office space/place of business - i do think it would be quite important to have some sort of business location as you want to target the local population in your area a great deal and if people request they come to you then it does not look good if your sitting in your bedroom as it is clear you are just a broker. If this isent possible for you then you can target clients who will be making orders online and over the telephone.
- A website
- knowledge of SEO but not important as you have the BHW service thread
- Graphic design skills or you have a graphic designer on board or outsource to a reliable designer at cheap price. This is important as customers always want amendments to the work done so if you use the printing press's designer it wont be good if you have to keep going back and forward to the printing press to make amendments to the design.
- Make a list of all the PRINTING PRESS'S in your city. Its important that the companies print all their goods and are not brokers themselves as this would be counter productive.
- Once you have the list dress up smartly and go and have a face to face with the managing director telling him that you are a marketing expert and you are setting up a printing broker business and that you would like to do a deal with him for trade prices on all the printing services they offer. There should be no reason why they would say no but you have to talk like it is in their interest that they have you as their broker and not in your interest.
- If you havent got graphic design skills or your own designer then you will have to inform the printing press that you want to use their designer also but this is not recomended at all.
- Once you have a deal or atleast an understanding with the press that they will be giving you trade prices then you can start work on the website.
- The first part of any website of course is doing the keyword research so you can build your website accordingly to the compeletion of your keyword research. To do the keyword research you must take a look at all the services you would be offering and do the research on a local and national level. Here is an example for leaflets and business cards. National would be: "leaflets" "leaflet printing" "leaflet design" local would be "leaflets *city name*" "business cards *city name*"
- Now you actually build the website optimising it for all the keywords that you have found while listing all your services in a good fashion which would convert into, phone calls, leads, conversions.
- You can look at all the other websites of the local printers in your area for exmaples and ideas. When choosing your prices add extra on top of the prices that the printing press has quoted you while staying in line with the market. List all prices accordingly on website.
- Start SEO work, start with smaller competition keywords first whil gradually working on the harder ones so you get some busienss quicker.
