Godady ...Stay Away.

Yesterday I register a domain with Godaddy, and when today I logged in their site . I was welcome with a Suspended account message .
Just now I submitted the requested document they need. But I got one confusion , I purchased the domain through VCC .And in vcc we get " site-name user" in place of my Name , will this be problem in verification.

Probably not because everyone use VCCs at GD without any problem, go ahead and send them the documents. Hopefully it will be sorted out.

You have to change the title of the thread. you are misleading a lot newbies in the forum about Godaddy. i am with them for almost 5 years now without any problems. i called them via phone if i have any issues and they solved immediately .
Godaddy is good for domains registration and Hostgator for Hosting. That's my honest review.
You used VCC that's why. you used for the good thing but there are a lot scammers out there using VCC for different purposes.

Agree 100%, I think Godaddy is the best for domain registration, especially when they have a sale on...which seems to be all the time lmao

definitely Godaddy for domain registration. Their hosting sucks and I remember paying them $130 back when I was a stupid noobie because someone complained me about spamming a link. I haven't had any issues with their registration service whatsoever.

I've used Godaddy for 95% of my domains, and never had any troubles whatsoever with them. Namecheap is the other one I use a lot...never had any troubles with them!

i've never had any problems with godaddy. they are the cheapest ($7.49) and they are famous so if you try to flip domains usually the buyers prefer it if the domain is with godaddy. i wouldnt use them for hosting though. if you only are going to have a handful of domains then pricing doesnt matter so you could use anyone

I have been years with Godaddy no problem with them, they #1 domain registrar globally. For a couple years back they having monthly promo code which you have only pay like $1-$2 for a new domain. And second year later you still can renew your one with only $7.50 and I found it nowhere you can have such a great deal. For domains, they eat up the other competitors

Namecheap all the way. Switched from GoDaddy and GkG.net and have never looked back. NameCheap actually listens to their customers and implements user submitted ideas if there are enough requests.

Yeah, namecheap.com I've been using them for an easy 10 years now... always been solid, and their DNS admin panel is a lot easier to navigate, if you're into that sort of thing.

And I agree with the other post. Godaddy not only supported SOPA, but they helped author the damn thing. Screw them and the elephant hunting space cadet that leads them.

Yea, I also clicked on it expecting some relevant info. And instead got a general question about godaddy. Bad form my friend, bad form.

A few weeks ago, I just forget to pay for the expiring domains that I won in the Godaddy Auctions, then they cancel my auction membership and then charge me $10 per domain if I want to restore the auction account.

Godaddy hosting is beyond shit and you need to make sure that you renew your domains on time or they will snag it and charge you 10X what you paid to get it back.
