There are people who get literally beaten and tortured every day of their lives, are they pussies if they kill themselves to end the pain?

There are people who are suffering from diseases which have a 99% chance of killing them anyways, and each day just brings more agony. Are they pussies if they ask to pull the plug?

There are little girls who are kept as slaves and forced to have sex with older men who treat them like dogs, and this is "life"?

There are people who have demons inside their heads, who just wont stop.
There are people whose family blames them for everything wrong in the world.
There are people who have lost a loved one, and dont want to live without them.

When someone finally cant take anymore and commits suicide, I can only pray for their family, and hope their pain is gone.

Losing respect for a lot of people in here. I feel absolutely sick right now. Life is NOT about suffering. People should not HAVE to go through the type of stress which causes them to end it all. How can people even think that people should force themselves to deal with stress/pain/suffering? Where do you get this idea?

Well said. As much as I've had times where I've cursed PayPal's name (or literally on the phone with them), can't say I smiled at all that he died. It's sad no one was there to help; it's a person, it's you, it's me, it's your neighbor, it's your family member. I'm about to be a member of the "employed homeless class" and wish better of people if I may need it.

Additionally, PayPal has helped me in many ways because of their services and will continue to use them, even in development of a new (two year old project) service relying on them cause it's what the people want.

A good (as far as I know) man died, I didn't know him, but I thank him, sorry to his family and RIP.

This does not have to be suicide, it just looks like it because it is the favorite way to do it for some stupid reason.

I don't think you should call someone that commits suicide a pussy or weak. Especially if you don't know them.
We all feel our own pain the best and it is oh so easy to judge the unknown.
Just because it wouldn't be your option right now, don't be stupid enough to think you will never change your opinion on this topic.

I hope his loved ones find a way to cope, this is a horrible thing for those left behind. Don't think he's bothered by it anymore.

I dont know what kind of person he was. Its a move that should NEVER be optional I know that much. Oh btw Life isnt about suffering but we have all been thru the struggle before or maybe still going thru one at the moment. But as long as you are alive you always have a chance to make things different or find a way to. When you are gone...its curtains and you're not coming back for a second chance.

What nonsense did I spout? I am not encouraging suicide. I am ask very clearly, is it a "pussy" move for those people to kill themselves in those situations? I have seen family members in the hospital suffering, and nurses hand them "just a few too many" pills and encourage them to take them to end the pain (assisted suicide). I am happy my family member didn't do it, but she suffered through years of pain and still continues to this day. I would never have condemned her actions if she had taken the pills.

Suicide doesn't always leave someone behind. Sometimes there are no pieces to pick up. And sometimes the people who pick up the pieces, are the ones who encourage the suicide. I just don't see how you can condemn something like this so broadly. I have never experienced true pain like some people do, and I hope I never have to, but I will never condemn their actions when they get pushed too far.

Ok I am chiming in. Suicide in my eyes should be a legal alternative, not for people who cant pay there bills or their wife is a whore,but for people with a serious illness. If it were a animal you would be called inhumane for letting it suffer in great pain, but for humans it is okay. Now to me that is selfish. Even though I am sure this does not fit the bill for this guy. I am just giving my thoughts. =]

Personally, I think euthanasia should be legal, but most suicide cases are completely different and have a motive other than deteriorating health. See - I didn't have to start an argument there

I get a headache every time I go into the lounge as I know for a FACT there will be some argument in there that involves you.
