Some of the top search engines have recently announced that they are about to close down several of their products including the SEO services. The reason behind such a move is that nowadays many websites having low quality content are listed on top in the search results by way of several SEO techniques. Today search engines are becoming more concerned about the content of the website. This move of the search engines has led the SEO companies into a severe crisis. Eventually the SEO companies are forced for a shut down process. I found so many vacancies in SEO - usajobsnew

nope just blackhat SEO. SEO is really just PR with a little on-page knowledge.

BH SEO going to die? Sorry but this is untrue, TOTALLY untrue. What is considered blackhat is always changing.

I don't think SEO will ever be gone. They still need algorithms to rank pages, and we will find them and use them to our advantage.

For Search Engine Optimisation to die Search engines will need to die.
If you don't follow trends on the Internet then your I career will die.

SEO will die eventually, just not any time soon. We're going to need to come up with a new way to search for information before SEO dies.

Maybe in the far far future when we're able to search for information straight from our minds or something, or we have artificial intelligence that can do it all for us, but even then there are going to be ways that will allow us to 'manipulate' the rankings, even if a ranking system isn't used.

SEO can never be die , because if SEO die , Google die :-D trust me , they just spread terror :-)

what Search Engine offers services like seo ? that is the most ridiculous part of that troll

LOL @ SEO going to expire. Yup, SEO is dead. shut down all your hosting and websites and go get a job at McDonalds!

lolol

I think that very few of us will retire in SEO, in fact this is something that I've even discussed with my boss in length. While SEO is an incredibly valuable skill in today's market, you should be learning marketing skills in general. Someday something bigger than Google will probably come along, and 20-30 years down the road the internet may be replaced by something else, but you will always need to know how to market to consumers.

So take advantage of SEO right now, learn it, practice it, sell it to as many clients as you can and work at developing relationships. When something new or more effective comes along just be prepared to leave SEO and move into a different type of marketing and you'll be just fine.

SEO dies when SERPs die, not anytime soon my friend! But it is true that marketing always evolves! Think of the ads displaying during the movie Minority Report, that's the future.

Exactly.

The only SEO will ever die is if some new technology renders search engines obsolete. The only way for search engines to really become obsolete would be if the internet was rendered obsolete or if the entire net was changed completely.

Whether or not this will happen in our lifetime is pretty unlikely, but if it does, then so be it.

This BS about SEO and/or black hat methods dying is ridiculous. Whether or not you believe it is up to each individual, but from where I stand, I see nothing indicating black hat or white seo is anywhere near dying.

I believe it's the exact opposite. Just look around and you can see how powerful the SEO industry has become in the last few years alone.

A few years ago, you told someone you were an SEO professional and they didn't have the slightest clue what you were talking about. Nowadays, there are more SEO companies than ever before. There are even SEO courses being taught in colleges now.

The future is already here.:D

Japan released facial recognition-type billboards a couple of years ago.

You see much more of them there today, and they are more advanced.

Facial recognition software is being used more and more today, and this trend will definitely continue as technological advances are released to, and upon, the mass population.

Those types of articles are just another controversial link bait technique. SEO, link building, social sharing, etc. is the new PR now. It will never die, i'll keep changing..

Yup its dead, you should just stop trying now

Who needs SEO when you have social media outlets to drive traffic to your site...
