Views increasing programs

Hi, I see quite a few Youtube view increasing programs being shared at the moment on BHW. I would like to know if these programs actually download the video continously. So if you aim for 1000 views and the video is 2 mb in size, does it then have a bandwidth cost of 2000mb? Im using a 3G card in South Africa to connect and this would be quite expensive if so.

Any info would be appreciated.

I have no idea how the proggy works but I have slow pc and running it like crazy. No problem at all

It consists in a sort of sequences of fake requests, in the sense that the request are real, but then no download starts.

So it's not as bandwidth expensive as you hypotize in the opening post

They have something like that for normal views, but it's not implemented at the moment for mobile.
