Op, I respect your position on the matter but there's just no way to predict the future of any particular thread. An IM thread can also turn into what you describe. So I think the best solution is to click that report button and all of us contribute to that manner.

And let the mods decide.

Yes we can not predict future but if you're gonna post something about republican or democratic parties or Ron Paul or something like that, what would you expect?
I for sure can tell that thread will turn into a huge flame war.

Why can't there be a sub forum for marketing related to politics and religion. There both huge industries that should be included.

Relegion in the u.s. is larger then the video game/dvd rental industry in the United States.

Lesson learned, and right in time, as I was going to publish some of my secrets. I will not post my personal methods publically, if this forum refuses to get rid of people endorsing major crimes or the violation of basic human rights.

The excuses used are just that. This is a forum. Its easy to keep everything clean and undisturbed without censoring. If you dont want political, religious or otherwise controversial posts even in the lounge, simply add a "battlefield" subforum.

Censorhip just allows some rotten apples to hide in this otherwise cool community.

That is your opinion, and you have a right to it. But as Moderators,
we have to do what benefits the forum as a whole. It is often a
difficult "balancing game", but we do the best we can.
