DeIndexed Private Blogs Professional Courtesy

You wanna make a side-bet?

lol based on what, your "claims"? I don't need to bud. I have friends that run private networks for Fortune 100 companies and even some of theirs got hit.

I don't care what you do. If you don't have enough sites where you test this stuff on to see it for yourself, your not a serious SEO player anyway and you don't have serious SEO friends in your circle.

In any update there will always be some sites that skated through untouched and some sites that weren't doing anything wrong that got hit.

Right now there are some seriously bad PBN's that haven't been touched at all yet. They will get hit sooner or sooner.

Only 1 of my test sites got hit out of more than 30 of them and only 1 of my regular sites got hit. Not a single one of my clients sites were affected. I'm well aware of what things I have going on each site and I know exactly what caused this.

My saying good luck wasn't sarcastic anyway. I don't wish anyone get hit by this because it sucks. You're going to need a lot of luck next update though if you keep building PBN's on your clients sites because when 1 goes they will all likely go together.

I agree with OP. We pay them good money for them to provide the quality they promise. Instead, a lot of these networks devalue our rankings. PBN owners, this thread is a must-read.

Let me guess, you bought like 500-700 ALN posts that all got distributed in a couple days? Maybe it's just dancing, maybe your site is fairly new, maybe you don't have much other links. My sites and my clients sites already had hundreds of links btw and are all over a year old.

Minus 695 from that number, and had 10 posts on another private network.

Please explain to me how giving out a report is any different then me submitting an article with an identifier in it?

It is the identifier (ALN), reports (High PR Society), and trackbacks, etc. that ruin the networks.

The networks should put NO identifier, NO reports, and NO trackbacks enabling on the wordpress sites.

This way the network will last a long time and succeed.

That makes NO SENSE.

If a buyer doesn't know "where" their links are coming from at first, they can certainly find out down the road through webmaster tools. And how is it killing the network if the buyers know? Because they then build tier 2 and tier 3 links? Still not making any sense because THAT certainly can't be the reason a blog network is going under.

I understand if you, Bobby, don't think multi-tiered links work. That's fine. But plenty of others have seen it work for them (it's been working for YEARS AND YEARS now). And regardless, buyers can STILL build those links a week or two down the road when webmaster tools gets updated.

The concept of "let's all shut up and pretend we're not using a blog network" is freaking hilarious to me. I'd have to say that MANY of us here could analyze the kind of data google has access to and sniff out NUMEROUS link networks in a VERY SHORT period of time. I am 1000% sure they COULD do the same. They CHOOSE not to obviously and CHOOSE to deindex in this random nonsensical manner. Why? I don't know, but I'd guess it's to keep everyone CONSTANTLY wondering what the hell that man behind the curtain looks like...

Hide all the reports/footprints you want. If google wants to chew you or me up, they certainly can. Hell I know I could do it to you so I'm POSITIVE they could. Sorry it just makes no sense to me.

If I'm missing something here, someone please educate me.

Thanks,
Con

I'm Using ALN, High Pr Society, FBL for 2 months and i still get awesome results no rankings drop just rankings raise, but i still i'm worried about all theese threads in BHW. Of course blog networks are not the only source for backlinks for me, but all theese deindex threads google webmasters notifications threads etc got me worried about my sites and mainly for my main site that is my bread and my butter...

Anyway perhaps i should stop using them and find other sources to fill the gap!

It makes a lot of sense.

It is not about "finding" out where the links are coming from.

It is about Google seeing interlinking and identifiers between sites in their algorithm.

If your sites are all interlinking and have the SAME footprint, you get penalized.

If Google sees the same types of sites over and over, the network gets penalized.

That makes NO SENSE.

Well it's better to not give out url's cause I bet that all those scrapebox/xrumer blasts also play a large role in the deindexing/penalizing of blog sites. I tested 150.000 comments and 50k xrumer on a site if mine that had 40 uniques/day and now it has 0 uniques a day for over a month already.

Yep absolutely.

It's foolish to say Google can find the network anyway. Of course they can but that doesn't mean someone should just hand it to them on a silver platter. Make them actually work for it at least haha.

Though, this issue is not completely hoax out of nowhere;but there has been a lot of misinformation.
Correlation does not always mean causation.

blog networks are effective, no question about that but you just need to diversify your links more

Diversity is great but these slaps ran a little deeper than just link diversity. There were at least 3 correlating factors I believe Google looked at and if 2 of the 3 were were found on any website, a penalty was levied.

I haven't been able to confirm with 100% certainty that claim so I'll just leave it at that for now but it's definitely on the right track even if not exactly correct.
