I'm planning to make a case study and I wanted to know your opinion about the most effective and best link building methods in these days, which methods do you think are the best? Blog Networks, High PR Blog Commenting, Web 2.0 Pyramids/Linkwheels?

It would really help me if you would give me your opinion, hence it would be easier to plan everything for my case study of ranking pretty competitive keyword.

first tier to web 2.0 with your main keyword.
2nd tier article marketing related keywords to your main keyword
3rd tier to free wordpress times blogs related keywords to your 2nd tier keyword.
