I have been busting my balls trying to rank some videos on google.ca, i checked their page rank on a site that shows u rankins in different countries. and all my videos are almost on page 1 on google.com but are nowehere near the first page for google.ca . I have been building thousands of backlinks to my videos, and market samurai shows 0 backlinks...? Im starting to think google.ca works completely differently, im going to try to rank a video using google.com and see if its easier, one of my videos for an italian restaurant is on page one when i use se nukes browser which is based in the states, but when i search in my browser on my computer in canada its nowehere to be found...hmmmmm EXTREMELY frusterating. im moving to the states with my seo. Google.ca is wasiting my time....one of my videos is #167 on google.ca and is #18 on google.com. no more scraping google.ca for me. any one else have this issue?

It is about competition. If your videos are targeted for Canadians, then you will find it easier to rank in Google.com, because you don't have lots of people competing against you. Try to rank a video targeted to Americans in Google.com and see if you still find it as easy before you make too big of assumptions about Googles algorithm.

As the above says I think more .ca backlinks would help you as google.ca probably prioritises Canadian videos/websites

guys, i have over 38,000 actual autoapprove .ca blogs, with my tier 1 and 2 links blasted to them. that means i have over 30K (found) backlinks. i have been pinging them daily, and market samurai sais i have 0 backlinks to my url? this doesnt make any sense, i have been doing what everyone on this forum has been saying. its just not working....i dont know why google isnt indexing my backlinks? i use linklicious, SB and se nuke. as far as im concerned im doing it right. but im just not getting any results.

and my keyword is super low competition too.. aaaaaaaaaaaahhhhh :wt:

Here is the #1 problem: Google isn't market samurai. Try using other backlink checkers. Have you manually checked the pages to see if your links are on the pages, and clicked the link to make sure it takes you to the right page?

I actually find the opposite. I can rank for Canada easy

Me too. I find generally I rank easier in .ca than .com.

yes i just checked some of the urls, and my blog comment points to my article which then points to my video. im doing it right. my rankings speak for themselves. #167 in the serps is a pretty good indication that my backlinks arnt being recognized.

what are your guy's techniques? i mean im using se nuke, and im using a pyramid with my money site at the top, web 2.0s and social networks as my tier 1 then my tier 2's are artciles and social bookmarks, then teir 3, forum profiles, then im blasting my web 2.0s and my social networks to my 38,000 AAA list and pinging. this is the right way right?

Help a brother out. Na mean?

Is your domain .ca and and a Canadian IP/host? What about your competition? In Webmaster Tools (assuming your site is fully for the Canadian market), have you set it to target Canadians?

my website is a viddler video, and i know my links are on the blogs, pointing to my aarticles then pointing to the video, and i have thousands of links, but my rankings suck, and all the backlink checkers show little to no backlinks. its just not working for me. im backlinking my backlinks, pinging and drip feeding, no results.....in dont get it.

very low competition

Build more .ca backlinks.

Yuuuuup!

Did you optimize your YT videos for .ca using long/lat in the map option? geo related keywords in title, description and tags?

This with a handful of backlinks you should be good to go man. You shouldn't have any problem ranking in .ca at all gota be something that's being overlooked.

I am facing the same situation..I am targeting Google.com.sg for Singapore....
