Anyone writing on i-writer notice that some of the requesters expect the world for a $2 article? I have written top quality articles for various clients over the years, and use i-writer for some extra cash on the side. Don't get me wrong, i make some decent money on there with the $4 premium articles.

Some of the reasons that the requesters give to reject some articles are ridicilous and im pretty sure alot of them simply copy/paste the article and move onto the next poor mug.

Just saying this because i reckon there are a few other writers that feel the same.

I've gotten some pretty crappy articles from i writer. I don't doubt there is some fraud, but the articles that I reject have been so bad it would be a huge waste of my time to rewrite. Honestly, I get about the same quality from i writer that I do from fiverr. On the other hand, I have received some great stuff from there too, maybe it was you :)

I would say, given the example of writing quoted above and your country of origin, fraud would play a large part in your case, as opposed to your articles falling short of the bar. I can imagine unscrupulous sorts, with limited English, taking advantage of you and others. Undoubtedly. That being said, since you're on BHW, I can't imagine you don't know how to use articles profitably. Why not build mini sites yourself? Submit to EZA? Build a blog network? You'll take a dip in profit initially, perhaps. But in the long-run, you'll have hands-off, residual income.

That's what I thought when I first heard of iwriter. I did sign up eventually, but haven't gotten around to writing any for fear of the copy/paste possibility you mentioned. And $2.xx is too less IMO. That's how much I'm paying my writers.

As a writer, you're safest bet would be to write for employers with high approval rate.

I'm not a fan of iwriter. Overpriced and most of the articles are spun.

Well, I've written and bought. The most ridiculous rejection reason I received was "I don't like the first sentence". From a buying standpoint, I must say I have received some quality articles, but I have rejected some that were absolutely horrendous spun garbage. I made enough on iwriter to get articles for free and I couldn't complain about the rates. Anyways, as the old saying goes, "If you want something done right, do it yourself", and I continually follow that quip.

Just read the whole article. Apparently buyers cannot copy-paste your content, which is good. But the copyscape thing is a fail. Interesting article.

not totaly true. True a pure copy and paste is a little hard but
with a little know how, a buyer is able to copy the content (and not by re-writing) It really is just 1 or 2 extra steps .

Cheap asses are everywhere. I had someone ask me yesterday on Odesk, what my best skills are and if I'd accept work for $1 an hour.

That person needs to look in the mirror and ask themselves if they would work for a buck an hour. I'm willing to bet that they'd get cursed out, lol!

You can't really blame the buyers for expecting such low rates though. Most of these marketplaces are founded on being "cheap."

I share your pain bro.
I just carefully choose my employers and look for those with majority of their ratings at 5stars. :)

I hire a few writers at iwriter and I also reject quite a few too. I always put in my brief that if there is grammar error and spelling mistakes I will not except it. I always feel bad rejecting too.

I feel bad rejecting as well. But I pay for premium articles, give the writers examples on how I want the articles formatted and designed (articles already written and approved) - and 1/3 of the time, I get whatever spun or rewritten stuff they feel like submitting. It's frustrating for the writers, I'm sure. But, for example, when I ask for an article about a medical subject and the article then tells people to look on the internet for information - it's a little frustrating on this end as well.

The word is accept, not except. I need you checking my grammar. iWriter has the lowest pay and the highest rejection of the dozen sites I write for. As soon as I get a payout, I am done there.

If you're correcting him, correct "if there is grammar error" also.
So where would you suggest we hire writers instead of iWriter?

Grammar is important. Commas save lives.

Let's eat grandma

Let's eat, grandma

Haha

yep, i second that. If possible, can u share other sites that are better apart from the common ones like constant content, elance and the rest?..thanx
