How does GoDaddy deal with complaints?

I would be careful with GoDaddy. I've read numerous complaints about them freezing accounts due to vcc use and/or unverifiable account information (i.e., they call only to find out you gave them a bogus phone number).
If you expect to have complaints against your domains, I personally would suggest that you find a different registrar. There are tons of people, perhaps many even on this forum, that will tell you GoDaddy doesn't respond well to complaints. Generally, they don't give you the option to defend yourself (or your attempts are ignored) and the end result is a lost domain.

Godaddy is one of the worst, they will freeze your domains over the slightest little discrepancy or complaint. My advice is to get your domains elsewhere. Namecheap seems good, I haven't had an issue with them in the years I've been using them. Godaddy on the other hand I, and many many others have.

I've got a domain portfolio of a few hundred domains with them, I had a legal complaint (which was unfounded) levied against one which was protected under their DomainsByProxy scheme, they emailed me the complaint and then charged me $60 in 'administrative fees' for forwarding me the email.

I agree, the CEO of GoDaddy is a jerk and their interface is painful to use.

I had a domain registered with Godaddy. When Godaddy received a complaint for cyber squatting, they immediately removed my nameservers without even informing me of the notice. I immediately moved the domain and hosting to a Panama based service. Name.com is much better in my experience - they give enough time for you to reply and take action.
I have a few domains at Godaddy that have "facebook" in it. I am planning on developing these and I too had a domain put on hold and later seized because of a trademark complaint earlier.
So you are saying Name.com gives you enough time... would there by chance be a registrar out there that would simply ignore complaints?
Any ideas?

Never had problems with them PLUS they are offering a whois-protection for only $0.50 per year (GoDaddy takes about $10 afaik)

I had godaddy as a host for a few years before I wised up and moved to another company. They seriously charged me an "administrative fee" of $20 JUST for forwarding a complainant's email to me (the website I was running at the time was getting dmca complaints every few months). I used all real info for my whois info, but just purchased their domainsbyproxy service which hides all your info. They did make my domain inaccessible (since it was hosted with them at the time) during the time it took me to reply to their DMCA complaint.
Oh if you get a complaint on a friday afternoon, and even if you reply immediately, your site might not get reactivated until Monday since their copyright department doesn't work weekends.
