Why am I not ranking???

I don't care to share the domain, but I believe you all have me a little misunderstood.

To answer your question, my site is identical except for the recent changes i've made. My site was setup for being targeted for SEO. I wanted to get some suggestions from those wiser than me on how to best out-rank all the other JoelGoldstein's out there.

I am actually going to re-do the site and have it as a landing page for a re-direct.

I am not a genius SEO but I do provide a very good service for the few clients I have and they have all landed on #1 in Google.

they have landed as #1 in google, but you can even get ranked for a keyword that has almost no competition????

but anyways, if you want to get ranked for that i suggest some article distribution, with your name as the anchor text. that would land u on page 1

k so for starters start following court, vic and griz. by reading their blogs you will find out a lot about SEO.

So, why is it that you won't share the site and why would you need help fr better ranking on this keyword, as if you were an seo expert as you are claiming for your service, you'd already know how to achieve this immediately.

Not meaning to be mean or illwilled, just skeptical as you are clearly not even at a novice level of seo, muchless the expert level you claim to be working from.

You are giving us a contradiction. You state you are an seo expert and offering that service but yet you are asking for seo help from us. Dead giveaway that you don't know what you are doing and faking it like that is what damages the internet's already harshly beaten reputation.

I highly recommend that you either seriously learn your craft or pick another niche...affiliate marketing maybe. You are messing around with other people's income flow when you con the uneducated clients that trust you for real results.

How will you advise people in seo if you cant even rank for "joel goldstein"? well maybe rank 1 is not that easy as it's an university site but top 10 ACTUALLY IS EASY for this kw.

It doesn't matter if it is a university or not, actually. It is all about knowing how to rank and he clearly doesn't. With enough targeted work, he can do it but he doesn't know what to do to make that happen. The only one that can't be beaten would be google due to their search database working as a backlinking system for building them constantly.

Short of that, most every other keyword position is fair game.
