SITE DROPPED from google

PANIC

Was starting to get top 5 page ranks for holding page - cheap mattress, cheap beds etc.

Was adding lots of links

3 well known packages (2 of which are online sites)

Now its has vanished or all terms.

Any suggestions on how to get me out of this and still keep improving ranks?

The site will be launched for client in 4-8 weeks and I need to get this sorted.

Im not that experienced with sandbox and hope i get this client rank and not banned.

Any help is appreciated

Do a site:URL on google to see if it's been deindexed. If not, stop spammy links and throw some high or quality links at it.

Might be the Google dance. Have you checked it's in the index? Try searching on G with this:
site:yoursite.com if you see the site it's still indexed. Then continue to build links until it returns.

Been checkingthe last 15 pages and no sign of it for my keyword mattress

Will run rank checker later to scan all rankings

What type of site, I found with my e commerce sites, not WP, that this would happen, get a reasonable rank straight out the box then fall away, however on those I kept posting links they came back very strong in some very competitive markets.

I would make sure I had some good content for the e commerce site and set up a blogger "blog" to link to the site with news and updates, you can do some good linking here, but web 2 is best all linking to e commerce site and then get some links going to web 2.0 and you will get there.

@OP - your site most definitely got hit with Google's latest algo update. AKA - Panda refresh. Seems to be caused by over optimization, excessive anchor text. Best to start building high quality links and start varying your anchor text to make your anchor text portfolio more natural.

OP if it's not de-indexed it's most certainly dancing because of all the links, it will more than likely come back stronger... make sure you keep your links going though.. don't stop.
