Massive Direct Scrapebox Blast on Brand New Website

Hey mate,

Thanks for the wonderful thread.
I have a question, I also blasted my MNS site, it was was like 25 days old and was ranking on the 11th spot for the main keyword. I was slowly building many links (directory, bookmarks, profile) for it but it was not really helping, it stood at the same spot for like 2 weeks. So for 2 consecutive days, I blasted few hundreds of comments using SB on AA Do-Follow Blogs and pinged all the links. I used various related anchor keywords and inner pages. Now my site is ranking at the 41st spot for the main keyword. And it seems all those pages lost their rankings which I blasted and my mainpage isn't showing up in google, been 2 days now. :(

Can you please tell me what should I do to restore all the rankings?

Thanks a lot.

DO you use your name to anchor your keyword? Or you use fake legit names?

Thanks bfellow for such an in-depth thread. Great results as well. I am new to scrapebox and this thread definitely makes me want to learn every detail about using the software. Keep it up!

I hope bfellow comes around here soon with an update. I have some questions about the regularity of the blast. I blasted about 10K comments from the last 3 days and made a small 400+ .edu blast just recently. How often should I blast really? Can I just blast 2-3 times a week and just keep it up?

Regarding pinging and RSS feeds, do you still do them? I've just pinged about 1K links so far.

In other news, I'm going to order more articles and update my content at least 3 times a week. I'm actually taking this experiment quite seriously, I want to see how far I can go with SB.

This is a great thread. Im using as a guide as well since i'm working on my first 2 sites. From my understanding he on pinged his very first blast of links. the rest the op just let get index naturally, since it would slow down the rate at which he would have to blast links. If I understood him correctly pinging speed up how fast the search engines find your link which means you have to increase you velocity of posting links. Where if you let them find them naturally it give you time to have a life outside of link building. you get to breathe. :)

I've been blasting a new domain around the clock with scrapebox on a dedi, first using random large lists i've downloaded and then moved onto a mixture of my own lists and paid AA list.

The domain has also been using linkvana /w spun content and pr1 - pr3 dedicated backlinks on the homepages of my own websits with low OBL.

Within weeks its ranked on the first page for almost all search terms and even hit pr4 the other day.

The site is a quality ecommerce site, all content unique and hand written, clever robots.txt etc

How many articles do you have on your site?

None, its an ecommerce store with 14 products and a handful of cms pages.

It does have another 9 versions of itself in multiple languages, translated by hand including META's etc but those pages have only been ran through rapid indexer, no need to SEO as they've been set geographically to their own relevant locations in webmaster tools, low comp in their countries so no need to SEO, they ranked first page by default. These are all set up in subfolders ie, domain.com/de. 285 pages indexed in total. UK is where the comp is.

Thanks, now I guess I can blast my next 10K batch freely without worrying about whether to ping or not. I'll go ahead and ping my first 10K batch. I'll be doing it at least 2-3x a week.

Edit: One thing I still do not understand is why do I have to convert the links into batch xml files and upload them on an unrelated domain and then ping them on pingfarm? Why can't I just copy pasta the links in batches and ping them instead? Is there a difference or something that I am oblivious to?

I didn't get that either. Here's what I think I will do. I'm on a home connection and i have 2 small niche sites. So I'm going to blast 1'000 link to the home and 200 to each page on my site that has content. the first blast I will ping and make a rss feed for all the links. In the future blasts i wont ping. BTW I have 7 pages of articles so thats about 2400 baclinks per blast. I wanted to start small to give my self time to build aa list.

I have a few questions
1) whats the quickest way to test an auto approve list?
2) I assume you use public proxies for testing aa list and private proxies for doing your real post.
3) Is it ok to have your homepage rank for the same keywords as your deep/content pages?

hey bfellow, great thread and nice results! glad your having success :)

can you tell me more about how you get your keywords to match the right link?

example:

mysite,com/dogcollar - keywords: dog collar, blue dog collar, red dog collar
mysite,com/dogwhistle - keywords: dog whistle, loud dog whistle, best dog whistle
mysite,com/dogharness - keywords: dog harness, large dog harness, small dog harness

if scrapebox picks links to your pages at random and places random keywords as your username as well I don't get how the keyword will relate to the URL.

need your help on this, thanks man :)

I've blasted nearly 20k links and I'm still not in the top 100. Like I said, I only pinged the first 1000 but I guess I will go ahead and create RSS feeds to ping the first blast and that's it.

1) You can always use a dummy or fake domain to test first but you'll still have to run through tons of failures if you're scraping your own lists. There are a few WSOs that you can find out there that teach you how.

2) If what I read is correct, yes, he is doing that.

3) I don't think it's a problem but why not point your content pages to long tail keywords or secondary keywords instead?

I don't have a secondary domain. So could I just use a free rss feed creation service, and send the feed from it to a few rss directories and ping that?

Wow. I made a huge mistake for the past few days. I have been using a VPS and they recently changed servers, which meant all location paths the Names, Comments, Emails, Websites etc were all WRONG! I was basically blasting nothing! Yikes. I'm now back on track and more cautious now.

Actually, I don't see what is the problem with pinging here. Basically, aren't we just pinging the website that holds out comments and if not, thousands of other comments. G cannot control who pings the website or not, so I really don't understand the issue here until someone enlightens me why bfellow pings his RSS feeds the way he does.

You know I decided to say WTH. I just did a 10,000 backlink blast. I used pingfarm to pink them.
I have a question though. What do you do to get the most out of scrapebox with your vps? I'm pretty much new to this, this is my first blast. Also how long does it normally take for link to get indexed by google?

My VPS has good speed, I have reliable private proxies I pushed the connection to 200 and it has been working for me so far. I have been trying to let G find my links naturally but it's been slow. G can take anything from a few days to months to pick up links. I pinged the hell out of my 1st batch of links and Majestic SEO picked about 100+ new links just yesterday. Let's see what happens tonight.

So right now I have blasted about 60K and Majestic SEO has only picked up a 100+ links and still not in the top 100 for my keyword.

You know what i am considering. I am thinking about limiting my scope of my scrape to the last 3 or 5 months. Thinks about it how many time have you autoposted to a site that probably hasn't been updated in the last 5 years. Do you think that google bots are really going to check those pages. i mean they might but not anytime soon. But if you scrape pages from the las 3 or 6 months. Those pages probably update there content more, and the bots come to them more. Which mean your backlinks "naturally" get indexed faster. Also its a good chance that the obl count will be lower since the pages are newer.

Just something I was thinking about.

been blasting got my site deindexed with blasting, becareful, i think its because i didnt remove duplicate domains like a dummy but i will get out of this one
