So ive searched the site for a bit and havent really found a good answer to my question.

Which is better, Hide My Ass VPN service or Private Proxies?

My main need for them right now is TweetAttacks (i will be using them for other SEO software but I need it specifically for TweetAttacks cuz my IP is banned by twitter)

So far my use of HMA VPN has been sub-par. I use it over wifi and I am finding it drop out or be non responsive. Now it could be the public wifi I am using but I never had this issue running a different vPN service.

I am wishing I didnt sign up for 6 month right now.

The service is good but the only thing i dislike that they won't allow to use Port 25 :(

Can you recommend a better VPN?

I have absolutely no problems with HMA at all. In my opinion it is a much better investment than proxies. One thing that should be considered is that sometimes when changing VPN your IP can be exposed and sometimes the disconnect and connect to a new VPN can take around 30 secs.

The benefit of private proxies is that a lot of applications are designed to use them and therefore exposure of your own IP is reduced. I have found most private proxies to be unreliable while offering no where near the geographical IP range as HMA.

I would definitely be interested to hear about and HMA competitors that are worth looking at though.
