Best cheap ENGLISH countries to outsource to?

beefsupreme - the British didn't invade India like they didn't invade North America before the revolution - they just arrived.

As to cheapest English speaking country - try England soon the way the pound sterling's going!

I will have to respectfully disagree.....

unless of course (here's a specific example for ya) indians went to a burial site (the Taj Mahal, the single most beautiful structure i've ever seen in my life) stripped off all the gold, diamonds, ruby's, etc.....and said "thanks for being here, here ya go have these as a token of our appreciation for you being in our country right now and changing the names of our cities, enslaving the less fortunate of our people and taking over all positions of power, etc".;)

Hey there. I am trying to get away from outsoucing to India and all those places in there (Bangalore). I heard it said before, use 'english speaking 3rd world countries' as they are cheap etc et.

so what are other good '3rd world countries' or just otherwise cheap places to outsource work to that can speak clear precise english? I don't know much about the world I guess! :blue_east

Go for thailand, philipines, malaysia, or some other south east asia countries.

I have been trying Ukraine, Pakistan and Croatia for the past 3 years now....and am very pleased with their service and English speaking skills....You can find plenty of them on RAC, GAC and Guru.

anyone got hire writers that are from Germany or France ?? thanks ;)

very few of Germany or France person who want to write articles. Don't know why.

I guess that most of the French are focused more into visual arts and Germans are focused more into Technological & Scientific industry.

yep philippines is great. I am from here and I just built a solid team. good value for money, pretty girls. Smart People. excellent english. cheap beer. My own definition of my country. I always go out, but its differnet here :)

Some people have probs with english of Indians and south-asian in general.
This is because all guys who are educated and well versed in english have decent day jobs and prefer not to work for few cents.

Hire me if you want to
I am from an asian country and my english is near perfect.

@blackhatcatz I will agree with you on all the points about the Philippines...great place to have fun.

@dragunov - What country are you from? Do I need to PM you for your price or are you going to post it here. Any samples of your work? How many articles can you churn out?

Cheers,
JJ King

I'm an Englishman living and running a programming / database / marketing company in the Philippines. I've lived and worked 20 years now in most Asian countries but the bulk of the time in Malaysia (first) then the Philippines (now), and they're both truly great places to live and work in.

Philippines to me is the best choice currently. IT wages are half that of Malaysia or Thailand, and a quarter of Singapore rates. Visas for foreigners are easy, not so in neighbouring countries. Plenty of good programmers, artists and keyboard crews. I pay well and get good people.

Language needs clarifying though. Spoken English is simple, your workers speak English to a level where there is no problem communicating whatsoever. Written English is different though. The Philippines emulates America any way it can - from President / Senate / Congress system right down to the Fed agents being called the NBI, PDEA etc etc. Writing articles and posts for US posting is no problem. I have a lot of UK clients though and it is near impossible to get articles written here you can post in the UK.

From spelling (colour not color, centre not center) through to vocabulary (lorries on the motorway - not trucks on the highway / freeway) etc etc. If you want UK English you need India / Malaysia / Singapore, if you want American articles, here is the place

But I'm here forever now. I have a family, nice place to live, good people to work with and..

most of all..

almost no rules...

Unless you're hurting people the government just leaves you alone to make money and enjoy it

Anyone planning to visit PM me and I'll share what I've learnt

Ooops sorry - forgot - English language posting in this forum only...

Like one fellow member said above, the best place is United States of America...
Do not wonder, I am an Indian and I am outsourcing some of my work to the peoples in USA for cheap rates...... Wait for a few years and you can see China and India will outsource most of its works to Americans!!!

What goes around comes around ?

Wow, that coming from an englishman, makes me proud even more being a Filipino!
(Salamat) Thanks Ronin

Be proud Istarapol, your people have some real talent and they're why I'm here.

Operating here has it's issues with slow and unreliable internet (there is still a telco monopoly of sorts), so I have four separate ISPs and sometimes end up with just number 4 running. Even the electricity goes out at times.

But the people have talent, especially in art / animation, and an attitude of doing whatever you need to finish a project. We had a major calamity with a client last month and without my asking the staff worked back with me till 2am when it was fixed - and then they were shy when I arranged for their transport home after saving my face?

Find good people, look after them well, keep bringing in new and challenging stuff for all to learn from, and you have a business here that is fun to work in and profitable as well

Regards

Ronin
