Why not use Ubuntu Linux? Much better than Windows, and free.

You will run all your SEO softwares on a VPS anyway. All the windows apps have an alternative on Linux, except the SEO softwares.

Thats very true but its not as supportive as windows as a matter of programs and the norms, but good idea too

Yes, i also suggest getting a good spyware(i use spyware terminator) to prevent keyloggers generally,and protect your pc.keyscrambler is good because newer keyloggers may not be detected by your antivirus or spyware program immediately, until after an upgrade.

i always clear recent history before installing non trusted software, or i run ccleaner.
