Ok there is a site in my niche that has about 80% of their content come straight from press releases.
They get press release feeds, publish them word for word on their site, and somehow those re-published press releases show up in Google news alerts and in organic searches, often as the top result for that keyword.
Apparently, they are not getting penalized for duplicate content. So, can I post press releases without fear of being hit for duplicate content? How is re-publishing a press relase NOT scraping content?
