When you install a proxy on your hosted server it is an obvious proxy.
If you keep cookies and useragent clean then they can not see it's you, but they see it's not a home internet user with the first blink. Just think about it yourself, if you see dataxx1.professionalhosting.com in your database/log do you think it's someone from home ?

Nah it must look like dsl-iprev-122.31.75.208-company.net as example, I'm sure you got what I mean

This is important as soon as your account is checked by any supervisor, as example because it was flagged or reported or randomly checked or your statistical behaviour made some alarm trigger.
If they see you use the acc through a hosted server it's likely they will add 1+1 = 2

I'll make it short, you can find a lot info how to hide your identity correctly on cloakfish.com (howto section, and infos on frontpage and at "facts" in features page.
IP .. we got that
cookies: there are session cookies, domain cookies, path cookies
All of those are used to keep temporarily data on your computer (short time or forever)
you need to clean that up, otherwise you use a new ip and as soon as you open the webpage their scripts will identify you as your previous login. you now create a new login, it probably works but they now know you have two accounts.
Useragent - this is a string sent by your browser, it is a well working identify mark. if you create a lot of accounts using the same useragent it is likely they will catch you.
That's like a birthday date, a few people might have the same date, but if you get loads of people having one special date it's a bit weird, no ?
